Hello! I just started using this mod and Litcube's, and both are fantastic. I think I'd be using XM-R even if it did nothing but allow for remote quest turn-ins. Great sanity-saver.

I do have a question, though. I'm not sure if my issue is the result of installing XM-R midway through a playthrough or if there's something else happening (my install seems clean, Litcube's seems to be working perfectly well, and I'm using no mods other than LU and XM-R).

Basically, I've started the Yaki plot and advanced it to the point where they want me to provide M3s to the Argon ... but I cannot for the life of me find a way to increase rep. There are never any missions available in their sectors, and I think it could be because I unlocked Hard (and thus removed Very Easy missions from the game). I thought about using a Peacekeeper, but it turns out that requires you to already have some sector rep. I tried to accept a Wanted mission and pull pirates into Ocracoke's Storm. I bought some of the Yaki space fuel and sold it to one of their stations. My rep hasn't budged from 0 - 50/100. Is that normal?

Do I have to watch Yaki sectors for Xenon, or is there some other method of getting that first bit of rep?

You should have some missions. Otherwise, yeah, try killing some bad guys or selling wares. It's doable :)

Well, I can confirm that I'm not getting anywhere through pirate kills or buying Yaki wares. I can land at Yaki stations, which as far as I know shouldn't be possible at rank 0, but nothing I do budges rep. Could it be because I recycled the two stations they had you build once that quest step was over? Is there a script that checks whether you have property in sector? (But I do have satellites, so ...)

It's not a huge deal, but I would like that overtuning.


edit : Never mind! All is well. For whatever reason, trade and whatnot didn't help at all, but Weaver's Tempest did finally spawn some Xenon-busting missions and now all is well.

So: next question. I'm trying to use the Data Relay to hack stations, but I can't make it happen. I watched the video on youtube, so I understand the order of the steps, but I'm not sure what I'm meant to do during the firewall bypass. There are many more lines when I try than are in the video, and some light up green, some don't, etc. What exactly am I trying to accomplish in this screen?

Edit: I am dumb.

I sure did figure it out in time, though. Managed to hack me a Phantom ... that was also a weapons merchant. So many free missiles and guns for the stockpile.

Hello I start play Litcube mod, and its fantastic (lot of FPS :D). Then I found this mod... so I love it. But I have a some questions.

1. I suppose that default mission are disabled and station mission symbols (crosshair, $,...) are disabled to. But what's about buying used ship ? Its the symbol activated, or how I can find tradable ship? I played 5 hours and I don't see any buyable ship :(. Or it can be buy used ship via "gold oportunity" only?

2. I start with Loot plugin but how can I activate/deactivate loot color?

1. See the "Golden Opportunity" mission on the first page. It requires a perk.

2. Go to your AL Settings, it can be activated/deactivated anytime (if you actived it, you should know how to deactivate it...)

sorry for 1.) My bad understanding...
2.) In AL setting there is only activate/deactivate loot plugin, not color code... But this is not big problem for me.

Oops sorry ; yeah the color code can be deactivated in the t file : ...\x3 terran conflict\addon\t\7323-L044.xml

At least you can deactivate the loot message. Not the color code itself.

7200 seconds ; it can also be changed in the t file :) (at the very end)

Oh great, I was afraid that its something wrong and i must only wait a litle long time :D.... Only Food and taxi mission... for my poor M5.... :P

I log just to say thank you for your great mod.

Just one question: it seem that the time to hack a single ts or TM is a bit short..i'v add the data relay in my personnal network to get more time but always fail for 2-3 sec..maybe i have miss something but when i watch your video...all is ok, just missing some seconds for the final log and pass..
help or tips will be great ;)

Ps: En ajoutant ton mod à LU, j'ai redecouvert les plaisirs de rejouer à X3 AP..Les video et stream de William Ferrell (avec ta participation) , ont fini de me faire à l'idée que c'est comme cela que X3 aurait pu être en version finale..Merci beaucoup pour ces heures de fun en tout cas.

I really don't want to make the hacking easier, so you should build more data relay if you want more time. FYI, I had four of them to hack a M6. If I remember correctly, one is enough to get a TS. However, there's a particular sequence that is quicker than others :)

Ok, got just 1 data relay...this is what i have missed. tks for the help.
For a TS and 1 data relay, the time is short in my mind..but it's doable i think..fail for 2-3 seconds ;) but i love this kind of feature in your mod.

If you install XM-R on an advanced game, you may be interested in tweaking the default number of Perk Points in the t file
To what number?

I am well into my game (day 6, got a dozen or so saturn complexes, small fleet of stolen pirate capital ships, headquarters, major race ranks all at or around 8 ).
How many perk points would be a sane recommendation to start this with?

At your stage, I don't really do any more mission, so XM-R loses a lot of its interest IMO. But I guess you can try 40 or 50... That would mean that you've already done 40 or 50 missions.
