Hello guys...
I have a problem with the Bala Gi missions... I don't find them!
I meet all the requirements of the faqs (I'm capitalist...) and I have good relations with all races. The game is updated to the latest patch of course but I can't find the missions anywhere, even in the bulletin boards of the stations.
What can I do?
EDIT: For some strange reason I can buy the Eclipse (M3+) from the Argon Prime Shipyard...
You don't find missions on the BBS, you are contacted and offered a mission so I guess you just have to wait (and check again that you satisfy all requirements).

Lol I left the game hours and hours in seta and I've started the game from november, so I guess I've spent 10 game hours...

I found my problem: I simply lost the first message so I wasn't docking to Kingdoms End Shipyard... Perhaps I have problems with eyesight!

I'm at the point I have to put a satellite in the centre of xenon sector 347... I put it here like this: [ external image ]
But the guy who gave me the mission keep saying it isn't the centre of the sector... am I r******* or what?
Look at your grid refs: you're at about 0 for two of them, but you're also 20km above the ecliptic plane. You need to fly down.
If you're using the "Move to Position" command, hit the insert key when you're choosing the position and it'll change the view to let you move the marker up and down, instead of left/right and forwards/backwards.
Yes you are absolutely right... in fact reducing the 0 coordinate I concluded that mission successfully. I carried back the hyperion to grand exchange as well and obtained the headquarters... thanks to all the people who answered me for the help!
there seems to be an issue with the new ships.I thought that the yatch of pontifex max..something would be a usable ship.However,it is a quite usless ship with speed at 80 and small cargo bay (i dont remember exactly its size but its small).I cant even see a thing when in the cokpit camera cause sth from the ships hull is blocking my view.And has hull strengh 150!I thought that this ship was like that by nature or sth but when i went to the shipyard at kingdoms end to deliver the station plans the ship they gave me (I think i chose the paranid ship) was the same as the yatch!!!!!What's going on?And some unidentified or unkown ships are sold at some shipyards and guess what they have the same shape and characteristicts with the yatch!!!Its a pleague and its spreading!!!!Any help please?

Are you kidding the Hyperion is brilliant. You do need to upgrade the speed and manourerability though. Then you end up with a ship thats got the shields of almost M2 level , and enough fire power to take out M2's (including the Kha'ak M2 in Great Trench) and the speed better than that of a NoVa Raider. The maneourvabilty isn't great but just about adequate to dog fight. And enough cargo space to use as a sometimes trader. AND you can have TWO other ships docked to it which you can deploy to help out in the unlikely event of things getting a little "hectic". The docked ships are also useful if you want to "hide" things of slightly illegal origin as only your main ship gets scanned not any ships that are docked to it.
Xenon invasion missions are an abosolute breeze with that baby. The Hyperion (M7) beats any of the M6 and M3's hands down.
As for the new M3's. I've only tried the Argon one so far. I own a Paranid one but haven't flown it yet. But no complaints so far.
I do have to admit, the yacht is great. One of the first things I do with it is disassemble it in my HQ and build more of them. They effectively serve as my destroyer ships in each of my sectors...
You can reverse engineer the yacht and it takes a lot of time to reverse engineer and build a ship for balance reasons, if it were fast you could build a fleet at low cost in a short time AND be at war with some races (or at least have low reputation).
well all the ships i described are identified as M5.And the speed of the yatch is not upgradable.And the max shield it can carry is 1MJ shield.And the fact that the m3 i was given (which is recognised as m5) has the SAME shape with the yatch!these ships are small and by any no means could they carry two docked ships.I acquired the yatch from the second unknown sector south west of malestorm.Maybe i have to modify it somehow?Can i find photographs of the yatch to compare?Anyone else who had the same problem maybe can help?
yes i do use a mod.I dont remember its name.It was at the newsboard some months ago i think dy a guy named redarrow however i am not sure that was the name.It adds some ships and a station that can built ships.

It seems the DDRS mod, I suggest you go to the scripting forum and check the thread for that mod, what you are describing is an incompatibility between mod and patch; you should download the latest version of the mod and read carefully the instructions because it might require a restart (i.e. starting a new game).
I've got a question about restarts... if you had a situation where you had to start a new game but you've got all the latest updates and mods (i.e. Bala Gi's, ship mods, etc.) would you have to wait until you beat the storyline game before you can do the Bala Gi's missions?
Reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking about starting over and just wanted to know what I'm getting into before I decide to do that.
