Amazing Trailer, Your killing me with the wait for the release.
We don’t know what paradise is like, but probably it’s blue magenta, flecked with pink. But even if it’s green and red-checked we should make the most of it. -Boron saying

Really good trailer :)
Contruction ship near an uncommon jumpgate :gruebel:
And yes, obviously giga-cannon on the battleship :D

If you take a close look at the right edge you'll notice the wreckage texture. So I think it's more like a small section which survived the destruction.

Yep - probably some kind of memorial station, like USS Arizona memorial in Hawaii.

Maybe we may participate as a kind of terraforming mission to rebuild the whole Torus?

The jumpgate of neptune is different from the ones you find in the X-Universe : it has been built by terrans in X3TC to connect to the Aldrin sectors. It's part of the lore.

Defiently best one made by Egosoft.
We actually went another route this time around and had a community member (Tomonor) do the trailer (in close cooperation with us of course). We had noticed him from his own X4 videos on his YouTube channel :)

2:27 have me confused - Yaki capship? Yaki station module? It doesn't seems to be Terran, nor having Terran turrets.

I though it might be the side of Syn, but we have Syn footage at 2:31 where it looks completely different.

Could be part of a station defense module - or several for that matter.

Nope, there are several good shots of Tokyo earlier.
I think these at 2:27 might be Terran station conector modules (see 1:14) - but it's strange to have heavily armed connector module.

One thing I don't like is that Terran destroyer weapon bullets spin irrationaly (2:21) just like Argon flak bullets.

They look like the terran swarm missiles in X3TC/AP : they advanced slowly in spiral.
It especially remember me the ATF Skirmir, that was the most overpowerfull M7M of the game it's missiles may destroyed any M2 in one shot.
Here again, I think the dev did this to get an X3's feeling of the game.

That has been fixed in the latest builds, also for the base game bullets (if not, poke me again).

Great! This was very minor and subtle thing, but somehow was driving me nuts every time I saw Argon flak in action.

If there is something like this I’m super excited - it’ll work great for the faction I have in mind. I’m calling my new faction ‘Mothers Aeternal’ - they started out as a charity to support families impacted by the destruction of the Torus, but over time, has become more militant. They’re not happy with the Earth government’s response and now the gates are open... well... as Shakespeare’s Mark Anthony said, ‘’Cry 'Havoc!', and let slip the dogs of war." Just gotta work out which character start’s best for this story idea. And will the reality of waging revenge change the Mothers? Who knows!?

Great trailer - super hyped! :)
