As you've probably noticed by some of the thumbnails.
Near 1/2 my images have been over written by this shite.
Thanks Spaceweed, I,ve checked my images and found only one had been over written.
Some more Perseus Sentinel images, interestingly shaped craft.
Very nice, 5c0rch! Having to sacrifice some graphical power for performance, I sometimes forget just how pretty this game can be. Not that it isn't on lower settings, mind you.
Can someone please tell me where I locate my screenshots ?
I have click on the screenshot folder on the XTC load screen thingy and all that does is let me name the folder. I have checked within the XTC directory and cannot find the folder.
Please help.

For some utterly improbable reason you will find your screenshots and save games in the equivalent of "My Documents" for whatever version of Windows you are running.
I'm told that lots of new games do this because windows is getting tetchy about writing things to "Program files" as such I think it's lucky that there are so very few good new games around so I don't need to get vexed by this crap too often.
Lead me not into temptation,
For I can find the way myself!
Anyways now that I can upload the SC I thought I would show you all this strange occurance I happened to come by whilst cruising through an Argon sector. It seems that the local NPC Boreas took a dislike to the planet in the sector and was intent on destroying it by unloading a hell of a load of missiles at it.

Actually, it's just "Documents" in Vista.
The 'improbable' reason is that the Program Files directory is for program files - meaning files that are used to make a program run. Microsoft has been telling programers to stop using it as a dumping ground for about a decade now and, with Vista, they are finally starting to enforce it.
It would be nice if games started using the Pictures directory for screenshots.

OT note: Vista (NTFS) does support "symbolic links" and "junctions". The new official name of the folder is "Documents", but if you do ask for "My Documents", you will get there too. That name is not shown by default, but has apparently been kept for legacy application support. You could even replace the "screenshots" with link to subfolder in "Pictures" for added confusion.
@X2-Eliah: Probably not you, but you could reformat your links to make it even easier. When Imageshack offers you:
