Only works in xenon sectors that don't have multiple stations as the don't fully get destroyed, so the zone stays in "Contested mode", if it has 1 or 2 defence stations, they can be destroyed so it changed to grey and you can take it over.
other zones seem to be fine as far as i can tell, i have 4 sectors than belong to me, shame they are not all together as there are no empty zones in the game, which is a big dissapointment.

easiest way is to just click on the sector then open up the information tab and click the sector name and it allows you to change, renamed all 4 of mine.Bellatormonk wrote: ↑Wed, 12. I was expecting to see the Sector in the "Property Owned" listing as a "Sector". Turns out you need to goto "Information" on the Station, try and edit the Station name (don't for now) and then LMB anywhere in the Sector. Another Information screen pops up that is related to the Sector and now you can rename the Sector, thus confirming you own it.
Really quite counter intuitive as the Sector should be listed as it's own Group like Stations or Wings in the "Property Owned" list.

Ahh..I had tried that before but the Info tab would default to a ship of mine instead (even though I cleared any ship selections). I see that even though the Info lists a Ship if I left click a 2nd time on the Sector it brings up the Sector Info. Still really counter intuitive. However thanks for the extra explanation, saves the time of going via the Station Info tab way.
