That Rock Paper Shotgun news was released on the 10th of June at 11am.
That is barely 3 hours after E3 opened its gates, a with Microsoft press release scheduled at 9am. Doubt very much they can report something that is in the future.


E3 is a industry only event, I doubt very much that professionals of the industry will go to the Tri Synergy Isle to whine about a delay and be disrespectful and look like a ****, when E3 is a trade fair for the computer and video game industry and only attended by people related to the business, it is not open to the public.

Santi, I don't know if you are from the United States or not, or if you have ever been to E3... but you are correct, a 16 year old who wants to get a sneak peak at PS4 is not going to be able to attend. A 21 year old UCLA programming student however is. The people who go to E3 are generally three types. Developers, Retailers and People who can show any small affiliation with the industry like students or reviewers.

And I don't know how many trade shows you have ever been to, you can come to the Point of Sale trade show in Vegas in a couple weeks and sit by my booth. Feel free to listen in (called Marketing Research) to the comments being made around my product. I can promise you they will not all be positive.

There are also reporters walking around everywhere asking people about products or what they think of the show in general.

More important to note is that Tri Synergy themselves do not have their own booth here per se, but Deep Silver does, right next to the VIP buyers pavilion.

TLDR: People like me, who are small time software/hardware project managers can get into E3 just as easy as Timmy the sophmore at UCLA.

There are 6 positive comments against 3 negative comments, there are 5 comments that expect the game to be improved over the previous games, 20 comments about Oculus Rift, HOTAS, real physics, what happened to Deep Silver, is only for the US etc.

Zero comments saying that "nobody cares because Elite and SC are right around the corner"

As more information cementing the release of X-Rebirth for hopefully this year, comes out, your efforts at misinformation grow more desperate.

I am not talking about on the site... you know there are real people interacting with real people at a convention center right now... you know people that don't just sit in front of their computer screens with their digital man-ness on display.

So once everyone got the scoop on the Xbox, then was delighted to hear about Playstation 4 playing old games and not requiring the internet to work, they wander. Some of them even wander down the lonely isle that Tri Synergy is on... and some of them are talking to people. Real people.

As BarrenEarth said you can have a small isle or desk with some promotional material, your presence is so minimum, and the amount of money you spent is so small that you don't qualify to be featured on the official lists, nor will you be in the map of the event.

Tri Synergy will be showing the promotional stuff already released by Deep Silver as seen in this forum, I presume it will be more of a nominal presence in the home turf and self promoting for the company, that a true effort to start a marketing campaign for Rebirth.

Deep Silver appears to not seem to care about X rebirth it seems. Everything I've heard from them in regard to this screams "disinterested". They have much bigger games they care about, it's like they forgot this was one of their projects or something.

I was under the impression that Tri Synergy had secured one of the smaller stages for a presentation in a slot labeled "Unannounced Game". I am now under the impression that they did not get said slot and there is nothing to show.

Deep Silver couldn't care less about Rebirth, it isn't even on their up and coming list.

That is not true. You are an exhibitor if you pay for a booth and a membership. You are a presenter if you buy a time slot and you are a simple show spot if you pay to set up a small table with information.

The exhibitor list is those who spent the money to buy the booths. All trade shows work this way. I rarely get my company name on an exhibitor list because the places I go a 8x10 booth doesn't cut it without giving a sponsorship to the event.

And like I said, there was no presentations or booths for Tri Synergy. They either realized they had nothing to show from Egosoft or missed the deadline or their slot was bought out if the rumor they ever had one was true.

The endless hostility and attempts at rumour mongering are starting to look a bit tired.

At no point did we state that Tri Synergy had either a booth or a presentation; in fact I stated quite explicitly that they would be present but not as exhibitors. Given that Tri Synergy were only signed up as our US publisher a matter of a couple of weeks ago, they could hardly have booked anything more substantial even if they had wanted to.

Thank you. But the fact that you have signed with an US publisher isn't a sign that your game is on the good way to be released this year ?

Because expectations are goods, but we can't deny that for a game which is expected this year, there is almost no informations. I know that there is NDA and co, but the fact that DeepSilver give absolutly no sign of life about X Rebirth is worrying. Especially for a game which is well known by people who are interested by this kind of game, but not known at all by the large public.

If Egosoft want to open the game and own a large public, it's not enough to make the game more use-friendly with a tutorial. Egosoft will need a true prepared marketing campaign, not just a trailer 1 month before the release date.
