Did 2.6 add anything with a credit amount to the bottom of the info. menu, you know, 'Jumpgates passed' etc.?
I was asking because I got a readtext error but withy Cr. at end. Fixed itself anyway, and it's 'Number of Cr. in bounty earned using a Police License'

Is there any mention of it in the changelog? No? Well, there's your answer. ;)

Will this also help fix Complex Tube slowdown issues? (specifically, not just in general performance)
Rendering means gfx-related. The Tube slowdown is not just gfx-related afaik (some people reported major slowdown in any sector when a huge complex was connected). And the slowdown is because of the massive amount of objects in such a sector. therefore this fix won't solve it, only make it a little bit better.
BTW: for more FPS in Complex-sectors you could go to S&M forum and look for the low-poly tubemod (forgot the name) / the tubeless mod. It doesn't give you a *modified*

I have a steam version and a uk disc version. ( something to do with no one telling me that Fry's would be carrying the uk version and no american release. bought the damn thing twice. Still waiting for the x-girl standie I feel I deserve :P ( not really just what I say about it :D I do want one. ) Anyhoo here is my question/situation.

First question. Bonus packs made available thorugh steam? Or can we use the ones here and just worry about steam related patches?

What I want to do is have my steam vesion be my official version of x3tc and the uk version be the version I use to play with mods. I have been playing the disc version. So my saves are from a uk version. Will these saves work with the US steam version? ( no mods installed yet. save bonus pack and thats official ) I do not want to loose one particular save, and would prefer not to have the steam version flagged as modified. And if the saves do work, will the steam version think it is modified?

You can install the BP to the Steam version, Steam doesn't do it automatically.

You can switch between Steam and non-Steam version, that's no problem.
You should always check if you made a backup of your save before using the modified version, otherwise you might accidentally overwrite the original ones - the two versions use the same location for savegames.

Thankyouthankyouthankyou

Adding into the equation the 2.6 update and this is a big update to the game.
All I can say now is (cue clip from Oliver!) "please sir I want some more" !

I am not sure on that point. But I would be suprised if you can get an achievment on a modified game... other than the modified achievment if it exist :D lol.

personaly I want the game I get achievments on be the same one I finaly upload stats with. Thus my reaon for wanting my steam version to be the vanilla one. Not to mention it is much easier to reinstall a disc version should something go horribly wrong with a mod.

ps, I was hoping for the return of the BBS in this bonus pack :( It was good for more than just missions after all :P oh well.

Is this article hand holding enough? I hope so, otherwise rumors could arise. :D
