Is there any way to have TL's use this script? I have a massive mining complex on one side of the universe and I want to use TL's to jump ferry goods between complexes on the opposite side of the universe.
Also has there been any luck with making it compatable with FDN? CDS doesn't see any wares from the Freight Nodes in FDN =/

Thanks for the script. Really what I was looking for. I have one question though. I cannot seem to add multiple resources to and from the stations with one freighter.
I have 3 complexes producing various types of missiles. I would like to have a bulk load freighter transferring different types of missiles to my HQ. I could of course get a dedicated freighter / ship for each missile, but not very efficient in my view.
Is it possible to make the script work with multiple resources?
e.g.
load:
Hornet, Tomahawk, 200MJ shield, 25MJ shield, etc. and when the freighter fills up send it over to the other station.

My first time using it.
I have a complex in Mines of Fortune putting out 25MJ and 1GJ shields
I setup a Split Trading Port in Teladi Gain
Another Split Trading Port in Cloudbase South West
a final Split Trading Port in Preacher's Refuge
My goal is to get the Shields to my Equip dock in the Unknown Sector between Montalaar and New Income
I bought 4 Angels, and setup em to perform load/unload, with the idea that
Angel #1 delivers shields to Teladi Gain Trading Port.
Angel #2 takes them from Teladi Gain to Cloudbase South West
Angel #3 takes them from Cloudbase SouthWest to Preacher's Refuge
Angel #4 takes them from Preacher's Refuge to my EQ dock.
All Angels are home-based to the Teladi Gain Trading Port
- Apparantly I can only have 1 item being transported (1-way) by a ship, so I'll need to buy a 2nd round of Angels for the 1GJ shields. If I'm wrong here, please tell me.
The problem I'm having is Angel #1 first off just picked up 1 25MJ shield (out of 10 available). I had the "off limits" set to 0 (meaning it's allowed to clean out the factory) I also set his "minimum cargo space" to 1%. So if the factory only has 1, it'll just grab that 1 shield and go with it.
I'm watching it, and it flies over and picks up 1 shield. After delivering that, twice it flies back to the complex and back to the Trading Port and doesn't pick up any shields at all. This final run I watched it. 12 shields were available for pickup, and it didn't touch any of them. (the Trading Port in Teladi Gain was at 2/6 capacity, so it had the room to receive them
What am I doing wrong?

Also, in case I misread the percentages, I want the shuttles to...
- Be able to clean out a source station.
- make the run even if it's only for 1 item.
So I don't want the Cargo Delivery Service to care about taking the last item from the Factory, or hang about waiting if it can't fill up enough of it's own cargo hold.

I'm glad the Discover Haulers worked for you in this case. Your question is a good one, though. Unfortunately I do not have an answer. I haven't played X3 for some time now, and not sure when I'll start playing again. DockWare Manager Limit
first of all - I use your script to supply my complexes - it's perfect - thank you for making my life a lot easier
However recently I was trying CDS along with the Enhanced Equipment Docks (EED)

and DockWare Manager. Unfortunately CDS freighters do not respect the limits set by DWM in my Commercial Port (one of the EED) they just bring the goods till the end of cargo space of whole station thus breaking the limits set by DWM.
Yes, yes I read in the Enhanced Equipment Dock description that only CLS and CAG supports DWM limits in EED but is there a slight chance that u look into the shadows of your script and change some 'abracadabra' here and there and the CDS freighters will start to honor the DWM limits - it would be really great

Strange, I had coded CDS specifically to work within the limits set by Lucike's Dockware Manager, so am a bit surprised to hear it is not. I'm not familiar with EED, so maybe that has something to do with it. Can you duplicate this same problem with a standard Equipment Dock?
I'm back to playing X3TC (or at least have it installed again and playing occasionally) so I'll take a look once I re-familiarize myself with X3 scripting (amazing how much one forgets in a year or two) and see if I can spot where CDS is messing up if indeed it is and not related to EED.

Maybe some hybrid between the CDS with options like CAG (a strict ware/goods/resource hauler) can go to any hub/factory the player owns and gets the wares for any player own/hub/factory/ED/TD/Commercial Port where the goods are used as resources for the latter or are sold by the player at a fixed location.

As ESL was not available to download anymore, and I need a solution to supply my complexes (as this script is intended for) with my TLs and Advanced Complex-Hub, I finally found the way to fix this issue by editing the Klaatu's scripts.
You just need to modify the value 2133 to 2004 at line 153 of the setup.plugin.CDS.xml script.
It changes the requested object class from "Small Ship" to "Ship" as described here : http://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=294548.
Maybe you also need to change the "Little Ship" text at line 29 to "Ship", but I do not certify that as an impact.
Maybe script experts can answer to that.
