If that doesn't sum it up then....

And if that doesn't do it for ya then...

Ummm....

I've run out of ideas :o

Edit: I TOTALLY intentionally didn't spell it "Awesome" on purpose.

Ah well, AWSOME
err... Why would I have a signature?

Hmmm

I've extracted those files I need (Argon M3 with the dds files) succesfully and converted the BOB files to BOD
However when I open that file in gmax (under utilities bla bla DBOX2) I run script, open the file and it results always in some Error of unexpected syntax "/" blabla shyt

Im trying to get a M3 nova if possible a pirate one into pepakura.

Anyway Ill try a few time more and then try the thing whole over again.

I know you need to press some button(I think) that makes the import special for ships? :?

Could you please do the X Shuttle ?
I only own gmax and as it seems GMax can´t export into any file format thats compatible with Pepakura ...

The X Shuttle is a easy modell and not very coomplicated (It´s also in X² -> but you can only "cheat" it)

€dit: here the modell and the textures are in CAT/DAT 03
The modell has arround 900 polygons (Buster arround 10.000!!!)

modell path:

CAT/DAT 03 \v\00124.bod

texture patch:

CAT/DAT 03 \tex\true\212.jpg
CAT/DAT 03 \tex\true\33.jpg
CAT/DAT 03 \tex\true\176.jpg
CAT/DAT 03 \tex\true\43.jpg

Please it´s a very simple modell and you shouldn have to edit the modell as it´s very simple.
I think it´s ok when it´s 15cm long ...

here a picture :-)

err...I don't have X: Beyond the Frontier :( but you could download a trial for Autodesk 3ds Max. :)

EDIT: Or...you could try this: http://home.comcast.net/~gloryuntogod/m ... x_max.html
you only need to export it to a obj format

I would be cool to have it as a .pdf file

As I said the modell is extreme lowpoly so it should be easy to adjust everything ... the hardest part is the cockpit because it´s "round"

I´d say just open the file and have a look at it -> it´s a cool design you may liek it too.

Time isn´t a problem - it´s your free time so you decide what you do ^^

Sorry for a late and dumb question - but which paper fromat should I use to print the model? Will A4 (210x297 mm) be enough, or A3 (297x420 mm) would be a wiser choice?

It's never late to ask a question ;)

Use A4 and I recommend using thick paper. (200 g/m) Sorry for late reply, but I don't visit this thread very often now.

Thanks for the reply. I have plenty of 250 g paper in different formats, so I am going to use that. It shouldn't be too thick, I think.

No problem.
I used A4 250 g/m (or 200 g/m? I can't remember)

This thing looks fantastic. My X-universe fanboyness is not complete without making this and putting it with my models. :D Well done 4ce!
