I found a very cool Sodoku solver website for anyone else who hates Sodoku as much as I do.
Have at it:

Enjoy.

The sudoku puzzle was the worst thing I've seen in X3. I mean just what in blazes?!
Rest of the plot seemed ok apart from some weird things happening such as my Solano just detonating for no reason at all in fight to resuce Teladi survivors. Not enough cargo space then - nothing. Had to just wing it and got lucky selling all my ecells which restarted the mission. 8 minutes to realign the JD - you dont need artificial timesinks in single player games. Thats MMO territory.
The deca's all colliding with the Teladi station and exploding was interesting.
Lucky I bought a Zephyrus for the mission as the station would have been destroyed by the time my Magnetar would have got there.
Not had fun in this plot I'm afraid.

Er, you're not supposed to get anywhere near the station. How did you actually enter the system? If it was via the normal gate, don't do that--you *have* to use the Unfocused Jumpdrive to do that part. The Rogue Trader wrote:I can dock at the station but i have 40+ M3 cafe's flying around. when i undock from the station i dont even have the chance to jump out before im blown to pieces. I have a OTAS TM with disco on the flight deck. Any help would be appreciated.

You definitely DO need to get near the station in Freedom's Reach. Presumably, that's where the poster is. This is a problem that has cropped up before; after docking to pick up the civilians, swarming Terraformers make it impossible to leave again.pjknibbs wrote:Er, you're not supposed to get anywhere near the station. Reloading is one option; simply continuing to try until you get lucky is another.

Getting in and out of the Teladi Station.
Hubert99 and The Rogue Trader, I'm sure this is a repeat answer, but I'll just put it out.
When I came up from below, I aimed to come up with the Teladi station between my ship and the CPU ship. Until I did this, I got blasted. I came up until I was level with the station, and this helped.
I came with 300 Fighter Drones and 7 Lasertowers, I can't remember if there were more. I put the FDs out by 100, and saved the LTs until I left the station. I carried a minimum of Energy, since the Teladi station had some, or they will come up with some if needed. It will only take 10 or 20 E to get to Dana in any case.
I used the Chok for its combination of speed, shields and cargo capacity. Other ways should work, of course.
I needed the FDs and LTs fast, so I cloned them in Rhonkar's Trial. You can also clone LTs in Legend.
Even when you eliminate the M3 type decas closest to the station and you, more spawn. But this will get you close enough. I found Thunderbolt missiles fired from 20km thinned the decas very nicely. I fired about 25, and hit about 1 out of 3 times.
I reloaded a number of times until I came with enough stuff, not just to get in, but to get out.
I hope this helps.

I did use the UFJD and went the long way around and came in from above the station and spammed off about 100 TB missiles before i used the docking computer to dock. When I leave the station that is where i have the problem, i'll try the fighter drone and LT deployment as suggested I have a few LT stations that i can get them from. Thanks for the tips.

OKay dumb question
I've completed A new Home plot and received a message saying the teladi will tell me where to find the home sector for a fee. when i comm him there is no option to pay him for the info and there is no gate from the unkonw sector to the home sector. is there a time delay here before i can buy the home sector or have i discovered one of the many bugs this plot seems to have?

I'm having a problem with the 'Jump to Freedom's Reach' bit... I AM using mods (thought it would be fun to have some Wing Commander-ships in the mix - didn't see any notice about plot breaking until now), but I would first like to focus on how it's SUPPOSED to work/look/play out.
In the Navigation AP-menu, I have both Jump to such-and-such, Advanced Jump Menu, and Free Jump. No reference to any 'Unfocused Jumpdrive'. If I Jump To Sector, I get to jump in at the North gate (and BOY am I screwed then). If I Free Jump to F.R. I get to pick and choose what I want to jump in next to. This seems to be what's requested, but I get no cutscene, no update to the Guidance. I make it to the station and dock, not a beeping thing happens besides the ever-present Autosave.
So, something's up. Yep, I'm in a TM (Magnetar) with a fighter docked (Cutlass, M3) - the Guidance is indeed at Jump to Freedom's Reach - but that, as they say, is that.
(Maybe related: I was contacted by some exploratory outfit (Aldrin expansion?) and was asked to scan asteroids in "Unfocussed Jump Sector". Uh, say what? I get absolutely no indication through Guidance what system that would be, either.)
So, bad case of mods, did I miss something, or did TC just give me the one-finger salute?

Google for a Sudoku solver, and use alt-tab to switch between your web browser and the game.
