Kind of ... he unloads as much cargo as he carries if possible as long as the cargo in the station doesn't be higher as the set amount.



For example:

Unload 5000 energy cells to player HQ will result in filling the whole HQ (cargo space 500.000) with energy cells over time (if they are not used there). Anytime the CLS would unload the whole 5000 energy cells as long as there is cargo space left. Therefor it would jamm, no place for other wares anymore.

Unload up to 5000 energy cells to player HQ will result in never be more than 5000 energy cells in the HQ because of the CLS. So it won't be jammed, At least as long as there are no other freighters delivering energy cells as they like ^^
You can set a limit this way.

Internal CLS doesn't work with TL, right?

I tried it, but when attempt to assign home product, i only get "null", even though there's ore in its cargobay.

i can't figured out how to get multiple suppliers to work.

i doing this for hub quest, need ore
i have 4 suppliers (complex) in different sector
1. I assign a TS to 1 of this complex with high level pilot, setup CLS1 (internal)
2. add home product Ore
3. add all those complexes as supplier, add Hub as consumer

when executing, the ship only transfer from its homebase to hub, it didn't fly to other complex to load the ore.

supply condition:
supplier min space 5%, trial with 1%
consumer min space 5%, trial with 10%
fly to supplier -> yes

the other supplier Ore are stockpiling, while the agent only transfer from its base

the way you did it looks good. but also check the supply conditions.
next thing, the home base, is it also quite full ? first cls will 'serve' his homebase, if there's nothing to do he'll visit the other suppliers.

try a second freigther with the same settings. (i personally use the external cls - the thing with the waypoints - and a mistral superfreighter. bit more work for settling up, but it brings tons of ore away ,- ) )

Internal CLS doesn't work with TL, right
as a freigther, as a comsumer or supplier ? works as a consumer. means as a storage place for i.e microchips. as a supplier - i have to check this out...

the story with 'unload up to'
its easier to explain the other option, 'load up to' or 'load'.
tell the freigther 'load up to', means he will load so many products, that his freighter bay has the exact amount you defined. 'load' means he will grap all what fits in his freighter bay.
means a freigther has 2899 energy cells. 'load up to 3000' - and he will load only 101 EC to get the 3000. 'load' - he will grap all of the station. doesn't matter, if the station still have energy cells afterwards or not.

'unload up to' ... i use this option only for refueling ships (like TL's, carriers and this stuff. there is never ever any need for refueling TL's manually, if one freigther does this job.
but here you will need 'unload up to'. tell the freigther 'unload upto 2000 EC', every time, the TL jumped, he will get a refuel. telling the freigther 'unload 2000 EC', he will do this as loang as the TL is not full with EC's. not funny for complex bulifing, when your TL is loaded with 58000 energy cells ;- )

the log would help in your case A LOT !
you did a lot of work by writing out information, but cls is 'quite' complex, and there are a lot of switches. please post your log´... then i can help you more.

with this, a analysis-logfile called 'log1000.txt' will be created in the directory, where your savegames are.
just paste it to here, from this i can see all the information i need for helping you.

the trade log gives you an exact overview what he's doing all the time - even if there are foe-movements in the region, where your TL is standing, you can read this info there. foe movements - this is also a possibility, why he's not working in the way he should.

the personnel transporter is not that complex ;- ) actually, when you use it, it's clear. it's just like a storage place for pilots...

About this software, if i understand Version 3.1.12 - 23. August 2009 works only for X3TC v2.1 not for other versions..

Is it still posoble to get older versions of this script and where can i find?
i get several times questions like this.
just to make it clear again .... CLS is 'downward compatible' (ui, i hope this is english, maybe only broken english)

means the newest version is always compatible with the actual X3-TC version AND BELOW. (means 2.1, 2.0, 1.4, 1.3 ... and whatever was before).

it's (maybe) not working the other way - cls v1.1 was maybe working with X3-TC v 1.1, but will probably not work with 2.1

Anyone know why my internal commodity guys go from my complex to supply energy to my mines, they go to the mines, and then they sit "IDLE" for a few minutes, and then undock(not dumping off cargo), and then go to the next mine in the system, and do the same thing over and over again? I posted a log if anyone could help.

hi,

the ore mines, do they have some money on their account? 'cause you told the freigther doing the supply for 12 credits each unit.

if this is not helping - let him dock at your complex in argon prime, unload him and restart.

Hello,

I have been using CAG and External Logistics software for a while now and thought it was about time i got to work out Internal Logistics.

My problem is:

I have assigned a a home base:

Huge energy Hub(not really that huge)
- 1 x Solar Plant XL
- 3 x Crystal Fab
- 2 x Silicon mines

I attempt to select "Home Base Products" and when select 'Add Ware' it will display a screen that says null and then it clears the home base status. At first i thought that it might have been because all the products at this complex are intermediate, but i tried it at a Cahoona Hub i have and the same "null" result.

Other things have also happened.

At times i have selected "Homebase Products" and the wares appear. I select a ware, set its pricing then it clarifys - e.g. Microchips(13478 cr.) - then i press escape to get out of that screen and it takes me to the "Add ware button" again. However, NO WARES are listed under the "Add wares" button and when i press escape or return it says at the top - product entries(0).

Ok, now for the frustrating part. Sometimes it DOESNT do these things. ------- just before i wrote this i thought id better and check that it it is random......4 times in a row i attmepted to set a homebase ware and got the "NULL' response, but on the fifth time i got the second result i have posted above ------ Sometimes i can enter product wares as per the readme and everything looks ok. But these things real do seem to happen randomly.

I had only been trying(assigning home base and then setting homebase wares) with the 1 vessel, so i decided to try another and it seemed to work like the readme says. However, then i tried that vessel on another station and got the infamous "null" again.

Overall, Int Logsitics in my game seriously doesnt seem to be behaving corrrectly, either that i have grossly missed some important part of setting the software up and I am just plain doing it wrong.

Went home for lunch today and tried it out. I just added money to the mines, and now they are dropping the energy off just fine and dandy. :)

I tried to set the price to 0 , but it didn't seem to let me? The dialogue box kept coming up asking for the price. If I set it to minimum, it would then accept it. I did this from FDN Administration from the ore mine station command menu.

when you choose a product, the next 'window' is the price setting.
here, you can choose 'manual input', minimum product price', 'average...' and so on (or similar, i'm not playing the english version).

here, choose manual input and set the price to '0'. ok?

first please update your cls. you have still 3.1.10, the actual is 3.1.12
your libraries are ok, but also reinstall them - make sure all the downloaded are coming to the rigth directories, means 't' to 't' and the same with scripts.

cls don't care about products or intermediates. once the homebase is assigned, you can choose all the intermediates and products - watch out for the rank of your pilot....

you have to confirm it with 'return/enter'. 'escape' is no no confirming !

alltogether i think it's an install-problem... that's the thirst thing i would do

Instead of sell or buy for 0 CR, the commands load or unload could be used. Then no CR will be transfered either.

Sorry, I should have clarified(another thing i tested as soon is I wrote it in the message) I have pressed both and get the same result.
alltogether i think it's an install-problem... that's the thirst thing i would do

I have discovered something strange. When you first wrote this i thought "I have already done that" and I had a couple of days ago. I downloaded the CLS script. I didi it again, however, just now and copied all the scripts over manually - scripts to scripts - scripts.delete to scripts.delete - and the i ran X3TC to save a log again, checked the log and still lists my CLS as being 3.1.10.

I also checked the download i did a couple of days ago and that is also 3.1.12.

So it appears despite my attempts to copy the files from the zip to the respective dir's in the X3TC dir, it doesn't seem to be working.

NB : Forgive me for appearing conceited, but copying script files over to these dir's is not rocket science, Im afraid you'll just have trust me that I am doing it right. This and I have performed the same operation with several other scripts that all work perfectly.

I'll, wait to hear back on the libraries issue before trying again.

Here is another log created only moments ago. I can assign both of its Homebases products, however I cannot add additional suppliers. If i try to add another supplier i simply replaces the old entry. I realise this is a limitation on an apprentice, however, clearly this pilot is a Logistician.

It is also interesting to note that the CLS version in this log shows 3.1.12.

ups. my fault. repaired...
but general spoken, all the libraries from lucike are the same. this libraries are for EST, CAG, CLS, CODEA and some more...

about your download-problem - you are using the google-browser? i've heard this makes sometimes problems - looks like a cache-problem. whatever, if yes, try another browser for downloading (maybe deleting the history/cache also solves the problem ??)
but copying script files over to these dir's is not rocket science, Im afraid you'll just have trust me that I am doing it right.

but sometimes people forget about the t-directory or the script-dir. forgive me, i try just to find the problem 'step-by-step'

i didn't know, that this is possible, that '1 GAME' can use 2 versions.

i checked the links for downloading, they are correct...
i hope a reinstall should solve this strange problem...

ah, another idea - which version from X3TC you're playing? the new version from cls need 2.1 ....

Your telling me. I find it quite strange.

Previous to your reply i took it on myself to install the libraries from CODEA anyway. So these logs were created after i installed the latest script and the latest libraries(keep in mind i installed the Latest version of CODEA a few days also so the libraries will have been updated then) so i have currently updated all the latest of everything involved and no go.


I use Mozilla Firefox.

Strange. I can get buy without Int Log software, but if feel that the size of growth of my empire will be proportionate to the size of growth of frustration at it not working correctly. Who knows, it may right itself eventually.

However, with the case of the Logistician, it appears as though everything runs fine except he i, for some reason, adhearing to the limitations of an apprentice - i.e. can only have 1 supplier. Again, strange.

Oh well, I will just have to keep trying and Ill see what happens when my empire gets larger.

Don't bother, the name of the zip-file are german. Once installed, you have the english version.

Prerequisites : X³ Terran Conflict Version 2.1 (not compatible with X³ Reunion) !!

The 'big thing' is the global administration. Therefor I've to do some writing in the description of CLS. Should be done on Tuesday. EDIT - Done.

The link for Necessary "Libraries" v3.3.05 doesn't work.
I followed the German thread to here and found that v3.3.06 is the current downloadable version.
