questions regarding price, release date and tech requirements for x3 terran conflict
Hi I have some questions and forgive me if they have been asked before.
I would like to know when will X3 be released in North America and also what is the price range.
One last thing, if my computer can run X3 the reunioin with a Geforce 7300 Go on a first generation dual core processor. Will it be able to run X3: terran conflict.
thanks

Thanks a lot for suggestion but they don't even have Poland on the list of countries where you register a new account...esd wrote:Have you looked at Play.com? I suppose in a worst-case scenario you could always trawl ebay... there seems to be a few ebay shops offering it.
Yeah, I know about ebay, seems it's the last that left. If there is a shop selling maybe it won't be that bad.
The best would be if egosoft's online shop would sell english language version of the game.

On a slightly more random topic... I wonder if the Collect Wares option under Special Commands will be a bit more diverse in TC.
I was just playing, and I was thinking how much nicer it'd be if I could instruct my ship to only collect missiles (such as the 80K unknown object), or weapons, rather than the 14 Stott Spices lying around.
Maybe I feel an idea for a scripter coming on!

Have an M5 escort the collector ship and just instruct it to destroy crates you don't want. (Command -> Combat -> Attack... pick the Stott Spices)Tycow wrote:On a slightly more random topic... I wonder if the Collect Wares option under Special Commands will be a bit more diverse in TC.

Good thinking that man! Only problem with that is while in sector, the M5 might get a bit close to the transport, making the auto pilot try and avoid the M5, and thus never getting to the cargo to pick it up (I saw that earlier tonight).esd wrote: Have an M5 escort the collector ship and just instruct it to destroy crates you don't want. Sometihng like that would work, but then you've got the problem of a large amount of cargo being worth over 20K. If it fills up the hold with 35K worth of Ore (just an example here), and misses 2x unknown objects worth 160K... well that'd just be annoying! I think some form of filter/additional command is needed, whether it being the ability to specify what type of object to pick up, or the value of the object.BigBANGtheory wrote:Collect wares of value > 20,000cr ?
I like that idea, especially if you could order a ship with decent shields to do it.
Only problem with going by type is that the Collect Wares screen could become full of object types (Collect Weapons, Collect Missiles, Collect Minerals etc.), so your credit idea might be a better one for that.

Then don't have it directly follow, just keep it in the same sector the ship's operating in.Tycow wrote:Good thinking that man! The M5's speed should mean it'll still get to the wares before the transport picks it up.

Or, just get more transports to do the collecting. Why blow up credits?

Must be having a slow night tonight... I didn't think of this. Cheers againesd wrote:

Still think the Collect Wares software would benefit from an upgrade for lazy people like me though!

EDIT: While I'm here, might as well use this post.
How about a method of tidying up the Sector Map? The Ships/Stations filter is a good start. How about being able to see just asteroids, or get rid of the asteroids from the list. You get my drift.

a collect wares and then a specific type would be nice. Pucking up that crate of spaceweed and gettnig scanned seconds later.... happen to anyone else ?
Yes a m5 can do the trick, but remember there is a lot of micromanaging n the game and if you ar elike me, I am managing my empire while my ship auto colllects wares. I do normaly have an AI ts ship do this job however. ( fast caiman )

Have a great idea for the current or a future game? You can post it in the [L3+] Ideas forum.

Hee, last night i install X3:R. its been 2 years since i killed someone in X universe.
I have new machine and can run X3 at highest resolution 1680X1050. Very nice and details
Hemm i wonder if X3:TC will be release on time? remember last time they suddenly change the extension of X2 to become X3? If in this case, we probably will be seeing X3:TC next year. Hopefully its wont happened again.
btw: Demo should be out by now. Its make me worries. only 25 days to go and still no Demo. errr

This close to planned release, you can be pretty confident that nothing like that will happen. There would be homicide by marketing people if anyone wanted to, I think, as there will have been a bunch of money spent already on pre-release preparation.ryeeson wrote:Hemm i wonder if X3:TC will be release on time? remember last time they suddenly change the extension of X2 to become X3?
