As I said in my thread where you mentioned the same thing. There is nothing wrong with photbucket. It is one of the largest family friendly photo hosting sites on the net, and has been around for years. Stop trusting Norton and do some research about the sites it blocks especially if people are using them to host normal pictures on normal forums.

Norton is a crappy anti-virus... it's giving you a false positive.

I have "X-Tra Ship and Station Pack-V1.93-29.4.2011" installed, is updating as easy as just overwriting it?

EDIT: ignore my question, it's explained in the readme file. sorry.

I would love to play XRM but its killing all my framerates, i installed the CMOD4 on AP w/o problems but still need the ships since the SRM isn't compatible.
The cmod4 is not AP compatible. None of the files are in the right folder and tbullets is not compatible with the AP OOS combat. I strongly suggest you remove it.

Noted, none of the beams worked and the factories are invalid. The game didn't crashed and the "normal" guns changed so i didn't noticed it in the begining but since i installed it because of the beams (just love them) it was worthless after i realized that.

Thanks anyway Paul for your observation.. i guess i'm going to play XRM a bit more.

Some upload sites are known for hosting contaminated files, that is what the malicious site warning is about. Not a false positive, just a heads-up and be careful what you download from it.[/OT]

If you are after beam weapons, then AWRM will be updated for AP compatibility in the near future (possibly some time over this coming Easter weekend - no eggs though ;))

Hi,

I'm working on a replacement for Osaka and Tokyo using USC models made by expnobody. But I have a problem with the Scatterfire turrets. What's the reason that they are actually placed a bit above the ship models? And especially how far above is that exactly?

Hey Cadius, Have you made a version that can DIRECTLY be uploaded by Cycrow's plugin manager?

Would be GREAT if you already have, just point to me where it is...

If not, have you considered it? Im DESPERATE to get this mod as I was a fan of the Nexus game. The ships you got off of it look OUTSTANDING and I can't wait to fly the Nagoya M2... :D

I have downloaded the zip file, and as I want to play it on AP, do I still transfer the folders from the zip file into my TC folder or into the addon folder inside the TC folder where the AP t, scripts (etc) folders are?

sorry Aidyer i'm afraid it doesn't work for AP at the moment. Only for Terran Conflict, I still haven't gotten around to finishing that update

Argh that's a damn shame, looked great when I played around with it in TC. I'll be waiting for when it is compatible with AP! :P

Can somebody help me get this to work alongside Xtended? Whenever i turn the mod on, just to illustrate, it causes the space station which background's the game main menu to disappear. Said space station is from the Xtended mod.

well, you actually can't. X-Tended is major mod on it's own. Although, Dertien PM'ed me on that subject, he was making a compatibility patch for X-Tra + XTended, you might wanna wait/look around for that.

On the subject of X-Tra and Albion Prelude, can I safely assume that everyone's moved on to AP and that I should focus on porting first and release an updated TC version later?

:o NOOOOOOOO! :o ehm, ... no. Not everybody's playing AP. But don't matter, as long as there will be a TC version :D

AP has a lot of performance enhancements, well worth considering :D

Not sure what you mean there Alex, how are you viewing the ship? If using 3DS MAX, it could be an import error. The turrets need to be placed exactly on the hull of the ship

If you're using the 3D viewer that comes with the X3 Editor, it could just be an error with that. I remember the 3D viewer gave me some warped looking mess when viewing certain models.
