Thanks for replies. I found, disabled and then rather uninstalled Haali codecs (and then rather whole K-Lite pack), but the problem remains - It's the same - sounds ok, but no music.
( Here is a current listing of my codecs after removal Haali codecs)

WMA audio codecs are available only as part of Windows Media Player?
I use WMP version 12, would I have to look those codecs elsewhere or instalation of WMP is enough, please?
(perhaps is my english understandable)

Finally, after testing all sorts of things, it serves good old ACE codec pack, which I used with X2. So who would have trouble with sound / music ... try it.

I see the same issue - but although I've edited the hq.pck (in my 06.cat for some reason) to remove the race=0 lines, and even simply delete water completely, I can't get it to pick up any changes in the game even after a restart and clearing the HQ build queue.

Hello guys, decided to fire up XRM again after a year or so and I realized I no longer have an XRM copy, So I went to download the files needed but only part 2 would download, part 1 and 3 refused to and after a few minutes it told me the owner had exceeded his share limit :/

Does anyone have an alternative download?

Not sure if this is where i put this topic, but i need to know how to fix this. im using XRM with the advanced universe mod, and i cant get my traders to do universe trading, they just sit there rather than use their jumpdrives, they dont even try to move through sectors.

Is it because of advanced universe or is somthing else wrong?

I guess you checked the usual things already: enough money on the player account (or the station account if the trader is homebased), friend/foe settings allow trading at stations, cargo room is empty?

Also please provide a link to the advanced universe mod you mentioned.

Seeing that these are just model files, there's a good chance that the mod is indeed compatible. I don't know whether any of the specific model files are already modified in the XRM though.

But yeah i have tons and tons of money but he just searches through all the wares really fast-like then just goes idle and doesnt even undock or move.

I heard about the blacklist manager MK3 but i cant seem to find it on the market anywhere, unless its somthing i need to cheat in?

Its also the same case with the commodity logistics software where i turn his jump drive use on but he wont go and jump to the jump beacon in the sector next to my home sector.

Edit: He wont even move one sector over just using his engines with the jumpdrive turned off. Dx

Thanks for the reply, but I think I will hold off using it. Unless someone can say for certain it is compatible, don't want to break my game.

Hello All

After some time away from the XUniverse I have rebooted X3-Terran Conflict with the XRM mod looking for a taste of the old days (aka I am once again unemployed). I have two questions:

1. As the XRM mod covers both TC and AP I am wondering whether the map I have which shows the Goner sector "Harmony of Perpuity" is actually in the mod north of "Elysium of Light" as I cannot find a N gate?

2. Does anybody have any success with buying offered ships for profit? I am aware that many ships get offered for excessive cost (1.1M Cr for an Octopus) but are there any guides/advice for someone trying to profit from buying these offered ships? I have had a few close calls - e.g. Harrier vanguard offered at 177k with a recommended retail price of 215k and 92% hull I thought was a certainty. Best price 132k or -45k loss. Is race reputation a factor?

Probably obvious answers but I look forward to hearing from X pilots.

1. Yes, "Harmony of Perpetuity" is north of "Elysium of Light". Since the latter secor isn't so big, you shouldn't have any problems finding it.
2. While I don't know the exact effects of reputations to the "buy used ship" missions, you should also consider that on overpriced ships there is often an expensive piece of equipment installed. However, there are also exceptions, aka overpriced crap like the TS miner ships.

I checked an online guide for the gate cooridnates as I could not find the north gate to "Harmony of Perpetuity."

Is this sector accessible only if you have a high enough rank in the goner? Is the gate present in Albion Prelude and not Terran Conflict?

Basically help! Any and all suggestions welcome.

It is always there - there isn't any dependency on race reputation.

I hardly think it isn't there in X3:TC. Do you have any further issues with finding other XRM-specific sectors?

The sector Harmony of Perpetuity was added relative late to X3TC via the so-called "A Sunny Place"-DLC, which was only available during a short Steam Sale in 2011 iirc. Since this DLC really just adds the single sector, there's a good chance that paulwheeler didn't bother with including it in the XRM for X3TC. The sector is part of the vanilla X3AP map though.

Thank you BlackArchon for taking the time to confirm the gate co-ordinates. The gate is definitely not there in my old, non DLC containing version of X3:TC.

Perhaps X2-Illuminatus' suggestion is correct and I am just missing that sector. Sounds logical.

I hvae not yet discovered any other missing sectors, e.g. Lightseeker is present.

I have achieved my ambition which was to increase my goner reputation so I could buy the Crusader and tour the universe in an M3 with a jumpdrive. I had hoped to gain another goner sector to seek more missions.
