I just played for a while... still getting that message.
I went to AL and turned off both Bounty Hunter selections (one for missiosn and the other to create NPC). The messages have stopped spamming.
but now every now and then I still get an odd message. But not the "atttacker: null" every few minutes. Maybe a conflict between scripts? I don't know enough about how things work. so go ahead and bonk me on the head if I'm way off.

well, i know about that
basically, they have a set time for how long they will be active, once this time has passed, then they will fly to thier next station, and be removed once they dock, so even thou it says 1 minute left, you still have until they get to thier destination station b4 the bounty is removed.
thats y the time is only aproxomate, coz it doesn't take into account the traveling time

hey im using the lastest version of the script but ships keep getting stuck in stations and no matter how long i wait they are there for ever! happened twice with Goner Mammoths and couple of other times too. Also, for some reason all the bounties are all for missions expiring in 1 mizura! that ain't happening man heh whats the problem? It was fine to begin with but it after a few hits it went weird.

hmm, strange, there shoudln't be any mammoths, it sounds like theres a problem with the libary files for selecting ships.
the reason they get stuck is most likly due to them not fiting in the docking, as mammoths rn't ment to dock at the station, so it gets stuck
this also causes all the bounties to stay at 1 mizura
you could try downloading it again and reinstalling it, it case something went wrong.
there should be options in the Artifical life settings, one for spawning bounties, the other for bounty hunters. if you turn these off, the current bounties will be removed.
then just turn it back on again for it to start spawning new bounties

hmmm
just had a fabulous image....
"this is docking control, we repeat: we have not got the facilities to handle your ship, please break off docking run....this guy's a nut, get those freighters away from the bay, I repeat scramble scamble..."
"I am enlightened, there is lots of space for me in your shipyard"
"For the 4th time, this is not a shipyard, this is an ore mine!"
"I will park it perfectly, you will see..."
*five minutes later...and the ship is parked...docking clamps wedged in a dip in the ship, while the nose is firmly wedged against the window of docking control who are watching in horror. everywhere there are scratches on both hulls*
"You see, perfect fit"
"bloody weeded Goners. we're gonna need something big to tow that thing away. hey, didn't one of the spps in ore belt get a Goner in an orca ram them? I'll give them a call, they'll know who to order in..."
"wooo....this starburst is really big!"

I've had the guild pack installed (from some build back in January) but I'd never joined any of them. Last night I downloaded the latest version of the Installer, the Guild Pack and the BBS Extras.
Whilst crusing the universe I notice a ship highlighted bright yellow, after (I think) seeing a BBS message about a bounty (which I didn't accept). Now, I've not joined any Guild explicitly, though I am a member of the Merchants Guild as my game is a Humble Merchant.
Thing is, my message log is now being spammed with alternating...
'Calling Hunter'
'Finished Calling Hunter'
... messages.
All AL settings are as they were as per the default install. Any ideas?
Cheers,
Rob.
