I was wondering which script is best to not use Rep with Races. I have installed Bounty Hunter and Mercenaries . I joined the Bounty Hunters but lose quite alot of Rep doing them, Is the Mercenary one the same as dont want to lose to much Rep as takes ages to get it decent in the first place. Thanks

the mercenaries guild has quite a few missions, some of them are good for building up ur rep, the kha'ak invasion mission and the boarded control missions against the xenon
the next version of he bounty hutners guild will increase ur rep with the race you take the bounties with, so if your always doing argon bounties, it will increase ur argon rep

Thats fine ,its just I had a choice of which one to join and I picked the bounty Hunter as that come up first but after I did one I lost about 7% of my Federation Marshall rank and cant afford to do that too often. But will save up another Million and join the Mercenaries guild and leave the bounty one until next update, Thanks

Dang Cycrow, almost every time I look, you've had an update to one of your scritps. I keep downloading the all_scripts pack, so I might have to start focusing on just the particular one that's getting updated.
On that note, a lot of people have been updating scripts lately. I've been downloading more than I've been playing.

hmmm
you say you added notoriety for the race you got the bounty off but I have questions still...
do you still lose it with the target race? and do you lose it when the target race is the race that gave it you (the traitor thing) because in those cases the boost should be much higher really.

It seems as though you lose alot of rep with the race of the ship your killing, while getting none for those your doing it for.
I killed a paranid ship for the split and lost a whole rep level(over 54%), while I got not even a 1% increase from the split. Admittedly I got 540000 out of the deal, so I can't complain to much.

Nuke released a lib to add a fixed amount of notoriety, if you want to check that out. I'd just inline it to be honest. I think it would be better than adding the value 5.

Ahhh but its GOOD we get updates, scripts need to grow and besides we the gaming public help to iron out show stoppers.... and Cycrow and the like here listen and adapt the script to a certain extent to what we wish and hope for.EidolonsFury

After cappturing a TS and woe behold winning the lottery to.....I had some whopping gold nuggets to join the Bounty Guild at last...
Very interested in the forcoming thoughts on this script might I add.
* Claiming bounties will require you to return back to the trading station
* Adding bountys on you head for the bounty hunters to try and take you out
* Adding news events into the BBS about ur achivements in the guild
* Adding Super bounties which will be rare and your will receive messages from the guild about them only when you at a high level
* Making bounty hunters buy there own equipment and upgrade thier ships
* Adding support ships for bounty hunters
Excuse me if I repeat this question...can you do a ship scan on Bounty Ships without loosing credability ?

Ok ...er, I mean Frieght Scan ?????... the scan thing you can do when in range to see cargo...
Of course this is illegal normally with the respective race in question depending on what/who is flying the ship to scan without a Police License.
I was wondering if this same scan on the bounty craft as it is not RED and classed as a pirate would cause any hidden issue .. ?

genius
jay is a bloody genius!!!!
I think the point is...if all the bounty ships have an illegal item...maybe "illegal documents" or something like that, then when you scan them they will be flagged as pirates (provided you have the license) and they automatically become enemies, or I think it only works 50% of the time.
That's a good solution to the notoriety problem. it doesn't always work, but if you can catch them red handed, their government does the usual spy thing and "denies all knowledge" and in the interest of race relations has no problems with you assassinating them.
of course if you cant prove it they will count it as regular murder.
