Are you patched to 2.1 ? 2.1 adds an 08 cat dat, and you only have 07.

AMS 2.09 has the 2.1 base files, so your readtext error could be that the ships are offset in a way the game isnt expecting.

Which might suggest that the game cant find the gunbus, so is rejecting the start and giving you the custom game default instead.

what is the readtext error btw ?

Game version: 2.0 ( :roll: Mr.Lazy)

Readtext error= Honests Bobs Superstore. (Idk how THAT happened!)

I also have the Apricot shipyards and K Depos.

And i have the Apricot ship! (Figured that out when i was modding my own.)

But yet, still the bleepin buster. Ill update to 2.1... ( :oops: Must be the constant installing and uninstalling)

Has anyone noticed that some of their commands havent started with a new game ?

I just tried one and found that beamdock, jump to derelict and the ship equip commands, didnt start and I had to manually run them.

Has anyone else found the same thing happen ? I'm wondering if this is a general thing, or just an anomoly in my game ?

I noticed the same thing but, I thought is was on my end though. Mine happened in the same game, not a restart. The commands just disappeared. Beam dock and the A,B,C Beam commands as well.

Interesting.

Hotkeys carry through once created.

Commands do not. So they need to setup every game start. Trap for the unwary. :(

v2.09a uploaded. It just contains 3 extra setup scripts.

What happened when you upgraded to 2.1 ?

Can I see a screenprint of that texterror please ? Also a screenprint of the nav list of stations for Argon Prime.

The Error fixed itself once i removed my own mod.

Ill try to get a screen shot, but i am using my Net book currently. I can tell you whats there.

I can find the ship out of game, using the editor, but not in game.

You have turned on the Script Editor before the first load.
You are not checking the shipyards until the 3rd game save and load.
No other mod is loaded, either as a false patch, or in the types directory.
No other game start MD file is loaded in the director directory.

DAD needs EMP mod, so you must have that loaded.

It shouldnt conflict though.

Have you tried reinstalling AMS 2.09a to check that it is installed correctly ?

Can you go into windows explorer, expand the TC directory fully so I can see all subdirectories at all levels, and do a screenshot for me.
