I think 1.3 patch broke things. I`ve just had an assassination target bail from his Osprey. When I checked the AL settings it just says plugin and doesn`t do anything if you click on it.

May I just say this is my fav script :D

Maybe it overwrote some files? The patch. Have you tried to reinstall the script? Back up your folders first though in case that in term breaks something else.

That was the first thing I did. I`ve been using it for sometime without any problems. Today is the first time I noticed anything wrong. The AL settings were fine before 1.3. I hadn`t up-dated to 1.63 but have done now and its still the same. Is anyone there else using the 1.3 patch that can still access the AL settings for this?

Update v1.6.3

 Stopped OWPs from exploding upon bailout.

 All docked/owned ships of a bailed carrier will abandon ship, revert to 'attack all' and remove carrier as homebase.

The NPC Bail Addon doesn't add anything to the AL menu. Only to the Community Configuration Menu, is that what you mean?

The update *still* isnt available on Steam, so I have no way of checking.

The configuration menu allows me to adjust the bail rate etc. but now it doesn`t list the NPC Bail Addon.

i've just found 2 ships.. in Family Rhy, they appear to be originally of split origin, might have simply been an escort for a freighter that collided with a police vessel, hostilities occurred, they bailed..

i claim either ship, and the split go nuts and start blasting.

i check the threads, and see you've got a new update, install the update, and it still happens.. HOWEVER , these ARE ships created by the OLD Bailout Plug, and probably still have the hostile bug attached, not sure if future bails will have this issue or not.
(steam btw, no 1.3 patch for me yet either, but i don't mind)

do you have ANY idea how to use a script to remove player hostility from any ships in the sector?
if so, could you make us another script/plugin to fix this issue untill all is well?
[via hotkey] ?

(you might even be able to submit that script chunk to Cycrow to add to his cheat package)

in the meantime, thanks for the script, it's very amuzing to see the xenon or pirates invade, whoop the police's arses, and i reap the rewards of the pirates making the cops walk the plank!
 :o

 the cops walking the plank mod :D

I have so far only had locals go red on me once as I tend to let my salvager claim most of the time it does not seem to go red on that?

i haven't seen anything in the AL plugin list, for changing numbers yet...
but is there a way to increase the auto-destruct duration, to give me more time to FIND the ships?
i noticed the line in the script, but it appears to be a variable...

even a suggestion as to what numbers to drop in the line for various time amounts so that we can set our own personal durations that way?

thanks

Just a question. Can your script interfere somehow with the vanilla marine boarding procedure?

Reason I ask, is I tried to board a Panther and as soon as the marines reached the hull it blew up. Every time I tried. So I came to think of that weapons platform that blew up, remember? Seems strange if there is a conflict, but I have to ask.

A Panther is an M7 class. I have huge ships bailing off. But big ships bailing on.

EDIT: I disabled big ships bailing, and then normal bailing commenced as it should. And I captured it :D

Just captured a large weapons platform, and it worked like a charm :) Installed shields, tractor it around, jump, and you can even man the turrets.

But.....

The same problem here as with the carriers earlier. The previous ships stay in their hangars and won't leave. Can you apply the same fix here? I am not sure we even can land on these things but I am sure the Paranid is not too happy with it :D

i've flown around, found a few ships being blasted on by the police (to confirm hostility), waited for a bailout, and finally got one...
no hostility when I claimed the ship, so it worked like a charm i do say.

2 pirate novas fought a split tiger in hatikvahs faith, i came in a made a pirate nova bail, tiget killed the other one, i claimed the nova, split went red and destroyed nova, stayed red but didn't attack me.

I'm running steam 1.3 and 1.63 of the bail addon.

been thinking about the right percentage to bail. I have it set to 20% on regular and big ships but in reality everyone would bail if they want to save their lives. What do you guys have your bails set to?

I seem to have aproblem with large bailed ships. Astronauts bail, the ship goes blue but is unclaimable. In fact, the claim option doesn't even show up on the ship menu.

M6,M7,M7M,M1,M2 and TL can only be claimed using Marine's from either an M6 or a TP using piracy command or M7M and certain other vessels using boarding pod's.

Or you could use the Claim Derelict script :) No extra wares, no fuzz. Just target, and claim.

Cycrows does not claim M1,M2,M6,M7M,M7 or TL with

since the Lazcorp one really requires you to buy nothing it's more of a cheat

Some people say using any script to vanilla is like cheating ;) And since Cycrow's came short I found Laz's the best choice. But to each his own ;)
