Heavily modified X3:R Linux w/ XTM (LGP).
Heavily modified X3:TC w/ XRM (under wine).
Heavily modified X3:AP Linux w/ XRM.
Modified X4 Linux w/ VRO.
Machine: 2 x E5-2658V2, 32G, 8TB RAID10, 1080GTX, Dell UP3216Q 4K LCD.
OS: Fedora 33/x86_64.

The sector is a random, unowned sector. So it could be pretty much anywhere in the XRM. It also jumps around every now and again - that stops it from being "game breaking". The research stations do this as well.

Hi,

I'm fairly new to X3/XRM and I started playing with the 1.28 version. I'm having real fun so far, and just before release of AB3.0/XRM1.29, I was thinking about installing MARS as I finally got enough money to get bigger ships with turrets and drones.

My question is : is MARS DATA File still compatible with 1.29 ? (the link mentions 1.27) ?

awww badly the part1 of XRM 1.29 can't be opened for me (like damaged)

hmmmm is that only for me? if yes i will try to re download it perhaps connection bugged (but the file is effectively 292 Mo ....)

Paul is the part 1 cat/dat supposed to have an addon folder in it? It doesnt...


EDIT: Looked at some previous versions of XRM and it didnt either. Guess thats normal!

Yep its normal because the files go into different places depending on which game you are playing. See the install instructions for more info.

Try downloading again. It seems to be OK for others. If you still can't get it, let me know and I can give you an alternative link.

Hi, It would be possible to add new ships and stations from XTC 2.0 in to XRM? I would like to see in XRM uniquely station for each race.

It would be also possible to add some ships from these mods:

Well the first one appears to be an amalgamation of existing mods, most of which are already in the xrm (many are from Cadius' xtra mod which is integrated into the xrm)

The second one is specifically for xtc, which means the ships are likely based on xtc content.

AP 3.0 + XRM 1.29, new game.
The cheetah is a special ship so is treated like the xperimental shuttle.

The komodo is added to three split shipyards, the mercury sentinel to three jonferco showrooms.

If you're not seeing them, are you running iex? The iex universe map is not compatible yet.

Part of the plot of the AP 3.0 is going on in the sector Lost Order. The XRM is called a Transaction Denied. Will this have an impact on the plots?
PS. The story says the text "go to Lost Order". :)
