He returned to his current Home Sector ,where he is bedding down with the Split, to review his current situation.

Checking through his credits he transferred most of the station's credit to his main account and bout 6x Zephyri.
Then bought 10x Disco S and fitted them .
Then bought 10x Buster S (by mistake) which exhausted his funds after fitting them.
Having done that,he assigned them to the Zephyri,which he allocated to Blue wing.
All that remains is to complete outfitting and fueling ,along with collecting some of the rag-tags he has acquired.
When that is done he will be ready to pay someone to do the final repairs to his ship's computer.

"How much? 3Mil creds for doing the final repairs?You're 'avin' a laugh!",exclaimed Ronny as he got the estimate for Ship computer repairs and final link to his original Universal Banking accounts.
And to top that,he might still have to go searching for his "lost property".

"Look Mr Fiesty.You are dealing with the OTAS Engineering Division.We are the top specialists in the universe.Of course,feel free to deal with less reliable and questionable engineers. I understand a certain Duke might help,but he is rather fussy who he deals with at the moment.Since his Transporters are your enemies,I don't think you will get a better deal than ours." The OTAS officer replied ,calmly.

That was nearly all the credits he had,until he could trade more ,or get linked to his bank account again.

Annoyed,but in need,he agreed the price.
His traders floundered for a while,not having much capital to trade with,but soon it would be ok again.
He left his Hyperion at the OTAS Shipyard for refit and repairs of all electronic instruments,including the Ship's Master control system (ship computer).
Then he ferried across to OTAS HQ,to take advantage of the "free" hospitality provided for reputable customers.

A few days later he was asked to visit the OTAS Shipyard to watch the final inspection.So he ferried across.
First thing he noted was his access to Universal banking had been reconnected.
A quick check showed he now had a combined total of 23,452,759 credits.
Then he noticed a list appearing on a screen nearby.One by one his "lost property" was being listed.
He will try comming them later,but might have to go with some pilots to retrieve them.
He had a nice smile on his face now as he could see all the previously blank screens coming to life.

As the final inspection was completed,he ordered the Zephyri Blue Wing to assemble at Aldrin.
The first 20 fighters were assigned "holding" duties at the 20 stations that were now mapped on his ship's computer.The others,along with the Zephyri were stationed at Aldrin 2 ,which had 3 stations.Thus there was one fighter spare.

"The Terrans will just have to wait until I am ready," he said ,more to himself than for his crew members nearby.
Time to get more traders working,but in Aldrin this time.
The problem was that the ship of choice for Aldrin was not buyable at this point in time.So Otas might make some more credits out of him.
Of course,when he "finds his beloved HQ at Twisted Skies,he could start a manufacturing program for his own ships.But that must wait for now.

So this is where he was at.He bought 10x Mistrel (M) and set about equipping them.

Having ordered the Mistrels to service Aldrin 1,he decided to wait before dealing any further with Aldrin 2.Maybe an LT can be put there later.

He needed to contact his "lost ships".
As he was in setting up Aldrin,he decided to take look there first.

Upon scout around the gate, he came across the Scabberd.

" What a relief to hear from you Sir!" replied the Captain."Without funds and no communications from you ,we feared the worst,so we have been busy here in Aldrin."
" So I see. You managed to get that old #deca! " he replied,pleased."Hope you made peace with the Terrans.For now,we must send it to Argon Prime Shipyard for closer inspection.It may alarm some there who remembers the Xenon Wars,but it is best that the Argon Military get a good look at it,before we decide what to do with it.Dis arm it before you send it...Just in case." Meanwhile,follow me to the Energy supply base here. We will have a meeting there."

While discussing the events during the time of non-communication,Ronny received a Message from Argon Prime...
"Mr Fiesty. We have taken temporary possession of the #deca.In the meantime we have been looking after the Experimental Shuttle which is now available to you again. Please arrange to reintegrate it into your fleet."

After reading it,he turned to the Scabberd's captain.
"I think now is the time to re-establish links with our HQ. Meanwhile ,now you have funds again,upgrade you ship as best you can here and rendezvous with the Mobile Mining Base Ship in Aldrin 2.I will call you both to the HQ,once I am there."

With that,he left for his Hyperion.

Some time later he was at the main console in his HQ.Checking through all the ships he had contact with,he ordered them home.
Some ships, he knew he had bigger issues with,so had to visit them personally to get them.

This resulted in a very big surprise when he docked at the Goner Temple.

"You see sir," the captain of the Truelight Seeker was saying," having no contact with you and no funding all we could do was join in with the Goners...After some time we were given greater and greater responsibilities....Eventually we had duties on the Ozias,work our rank up and seeing that it was in essence a TL ,we did a lot of build missions to gain credits....Eventually we had enough to buy it,which gave the Goners much needed funds for their Universal Goner Charity...oh and sir,the remaining balance after our wages,have been sitting here waiting for your collection...sir!"he finished,with a slight smile on his face.

"If my late father had heard you say that,I am not at all sure whether or not he would have believed you.But he would have rewarded you for the end results.So I too will give you all 50% back in reward for your efforts.That is one very strange , rare looking TL. Well done lads!"

Ronny went on into Terran space then and made contact with the Baldric Minor,the four Rapiers,The Scabberd,the Advanced Discoverer and the Vidar.

Each of these were sent to the PHQ.There were no more surprises for Ronny except that the Osias internal docking bays seemed to be malfunctioning...not allowing the Rapiers to dock.
So he returned the Ozias to the PHQ for further investigation.

Next he checked the Information at the PHQ and found he had the three Blueprints he had been hoping not to have lost.

He had a problem in Aldrin now.There seems to be a problem in over - production of Sunrise Flowers,so he needs to think about installing a factory or more that requires them.
So he checked Xadrian's Console and found Teladi Sun Oil Refinery L , at PTNI Headquarters would do nicely.It would buy excess Sunrise flowers and and energy and give back Nostrop Oil in return.
He decided to pilot the Ozias,and see how it fared and check that the Cargo Hold was functional.All was well and he place the station off centre ,opposite the Aldrin rock.Set prices and gave it a working capital of 10,000,000 crs to win or lose.
He would check back later.

The other thing on his mind was all his late father's ships that Norman had found empty . He still did not know what happened to them.No contact has yet been made.He returned to his PHQ and transferred to the Hyperion.

It was time to visit a certain Military Commander in a secluded part of Terran Space.He needed answers.
Where better to go than where things began to get tricky?Yes,that millitary base not far from Oort Cloud,in an Unknown Sector with a bit of Nividium.
" I have often wondered why they want to protect that."Ronny thought aloud.

The station Commander looked a bit pale when he saw Ronny walk into his office with the station secretary trying to stop him...

"Mr Fiesty !!!. Erm ... how ... nice to see you...erkhmm" coughed the Commander,dismissing his secretary."Please sit down.Tea?I presume that is still your preferred drink?"

"Thankyou.One sweetener and little milk.But I have not come here for afternoon tea and cakes." Replied Ronny,rather firmly."

As the commander return from the vending console and place the beverages on his desk he asked " erm ...What have come to see me for? I hope it is important enough to come un-announced."

"Well it is like this...After our little unofficial liaison following the Argon's recruitment of me for espionage against your employers,a lot of things have happened which just don't add up.It all started when I gained possession of the Hyperion,now park nearby..."
He then filled in all the details of lost information and no access to his credits and lost contact with all his pilots across the universe.Technology across the universe was so good that it should have put everything back in place much quicker,just by proving his ID.But it was as if he did not exist.
He had worked hard at bringing Aldrin Economy back up to an acceptable standard and was recognized by the Terran authorities to the point that while on route here,he was promoted to Terran Marshall of Mars after destroying a Xenon Q in TUS2.But he had had higher status than that after making amends for his role in the Argon's attacks.

"... So I want answers.What's been going on?" Ronny demanded.

"Well I must admit I was shocked when I saw you were still alive....erhm, pleased though.There were developments after you left me.It seems the Argon,or at least a section of their secret service , did not appreciate your contact here so soon after the affair.That little setback you had was not just supposed to fry your computer chips,if you get what I mean.Fortunately for you we had someone on the inside who tried to tone down the effect without it becoming too noticeable to prying eyes.But unfortunately,he has made no further contact since tampering with it.So we suspect the worst.

Then we heard rumors of the incident and closed your access to your data etc,so as not to arouse suspicion in certain Argon quarters.But there was no confirmation as to if you had survived.Or who it was that managed to access your data again.So we kept a low profile and just waited.Personally I thought you were no more,hence the shock at seeing you again.

Checking your Universal records here,I can see you have been active in re-establishing links with Split ,Paranid ,Boron and the Argon.Obviously there has been some hiding of information between them all,so I would watch your back from now on.Trust no-one completely.Is that understood?"

Ronny nodded in agreement."No more mercenary activities for some time to come then." he said.

"Not advised at the moment.You could get trapped...you know the routine...please assassinate pilot in an M3,so you go after him in a small M6 and get roasting from a fleet of M1,M2 and support fighters....No,not a good idea at the moment." replied the Commander."However..." He left it hanging.

"What are you thinking,sir?"Ronny asked.

"Well you seem to being doing well in Aldrin at the moment.Our military needs regular supplies and the commercial dealings with our government could be a lot more fluid.Sometimes supplies dry up when we need them most.Perhaps you could look into this.For your own safety secure your own sector and work within Terran space except when needed elsewhere.If possible just let your corporation run inter-stellar activities beyond those realms." the commander suggested.

" I was hoping to find my late fathers small fleet of 'discovered' ships.They seem to be completely off the radar at the moment." Ronny said.

"Yes,all in good time. We took the liberty of recruiting your pilots and storing those ships in our compound at the Torus.They are safe there,but it would not be wise to float them in front of the Argon for a while.Let the dust settle first.We will open negotiations with the Argon and try to settle this dispute on your behalf.We don't really want them to be any more trouble.But you should know how quarrelsome they can be sometimes."

"ok.Agreed." he said as he got up to leave. Now he had to return to the PHQ and inform the team how things are.
Thinking to himself..." I have to form some sector navy out of what I have retrieved and build some sort of support complex and building supplies for my PHQ's manufacturing plant."

...moments later he was checking his fleet data again "Whoa there ! I nearly forgot those two down there at Mealstrom! I will go back to the PHQ via that route and see about picking them up.
Hope it's still safe enough for me out there to do this.

Back at the PHQ he had another problem in Aldrin.
Overproduction of Delaxian Wheat.

Now having been briefed,finding that the only station he could buy,that would use this wheat,is the Space Fuel Distillery,supplied by the Argon,who have made the substance illegal to the point of destroying any stations they have sold,but operating in Argon Space,proved a slight dilemma.

The only way he could cover his tracks would be to send someone to the Yaki Shipyard to buy a Ryu and then role play as a Yaki wishing to set up business.
"Probably too dangerous to go myself," he thought.

He checked his personnel records...

Dylan Pickleworth sauntered into the operations room wearing his rough,ill-fitting Yaki clothes.
"yes sir?" he asked.

"Still wearing that gear?" Ronny noted."Good.That is what I was hoping.I need you to do something with a little bit gall,but as ex-Yaki.you will find it interesting."

Dylan listened to the plan and confirmed it would be "a piece of cake" for him.Ex-Yaki and Argon decent would be perfect.He would know how the two sides work.

Ronny looked through the list of gained ships at the PHQ. Many of them would have to stay on Sector Patrol now.Others were just too different from regular ships.TLs would have to stay for other uses for now.
" I want you to take the Enhanced Jaguar.Take it into the workshop and get it re-fitted.Here are your funds for the job ,plus expenses allowances.That should be enough for you until you return.Then you get your special service bonus...Still here Dylan? You should be half way to the Jag now.Off with you!"

Dylan Pickleworth turned on his heal and left without further word.

Days went by.Dylan was under a no-contact order,so Ronny waited impatiently.Senior staff tried to calm him,but he just stormed out of the control room and back to his apartments,only coming out when really needed.

Eventually he was told that a Yaki Ryu had entered Fiesty Space Sector Alpha,renamed from Twisted Skies.Interceptors in the form of the four Rapiers were sent to confirm pilot identity and returned positive ...it was Mr. Pickleworth.

Anxiety relieved, Ronny made his way to the control room to meet Dylan.

"Success sir!" Said Dylan ,enthusiastically. "And there have been developments with the Yaki . I complexed the two stations together,letting them share energy resources.Sunrise Oil is being converted and the Delaxian Wheat should start making it's way there soon too."

"Good,good.I knew I could count on you,even if it did take longer than I thought....Yaki? What's the news there?"

"Well sir,it seems the Yaki have made some sort of breakthrough in acquiring Super Shipyards etc and instead of building their ships there,they are using the massive storage for commodities, munitions and equipment.I was able to get basic EQ and JD plus e-cells without leaving the sector.They said that it is only a start at the moment so do not stock everything yet.Unfortunately the 200MJ shields were not fully compatible so I sold them on at Aldrin,for their inspection and refitted with new stock there."

"Interesting information.So which shipyards have they converted?"

"Just a single Split Super Shipyard at the moment , they have other plans too,such as Trading Stations from the Teladi,for fitting Yaki fighters instead of hunting or buying." Dylan finished.

" Thankyou for your diligence Dylan( )... You will find your bonuses added to your account,plus a little extra for the Yaki information.It gives me some ideas.Dismissed"

Dylan left the control room.

Ronny's Log

Now down to business with the Terran Economy.
We'll start where the Commander hides out.
He has a Ghoul Missile Manufacturing Plant which needs Water,Energy,C- Ration and Ore.
To get Water it needs a Water Purification Plant,which in turn needs Energy and Ice.
To get Ice it needs an Ice Harvesting Facility.

Scanning the roids in this sector reveals no Ice roids.

WPP bought and installed.

To get C-Rations it needs a Food Preparation Facility which needs Carbo Cake and Energy.
To get Carbo Cake it needs a Carbo Cake Factory which needs Energy

FPF and CCF bought and installed.

A Rapier bought for holding the Ghoul Missile Manufacturing Plant,and docked there.
Meanwhile search for Ice 'roids.
Quick look on Xadrian's console and I find a 44yield Ice 'roid in Oort Cloud.

Ice Harvesting Facility placed there.
Now off to get the SPP

That stupid clerk...saying he does not stock certain stations for unauthorized use!
Loved the look on his face when I waved the Commander's papers under his nose.
Still...I suppose he was doing his job.

Terran SPP XL (Master Cycrow knew of a bigger version of this) ,so I call it XXL,has been placed with Crystal Fab L.

Now we need Terran MRE and Silicon Wafers.

Those two dealt with and all new factories in this Unknown Sector has been turned over to Terran Control.

Next up is docking holding ships and moving into the next sector with the Point singularity complex.

The next sector was easier to configure.
It only had the Point Singularity Projector Forge.

I gave the Terran one of each,handing over control after I had placed holding ships (Rapiers) which I had bought from the Shipyard in Saturn.

I took the opportunity to see where all the extra trade ships were going.
It was to the Water purification Plant and the Carbo Cake Factory int he first UK sector I had built in for the Terrans.

So the Commander there should begin to smile again soon.

Then I docked at a station in uk sector to the north of where I was.

Things were going ok for Ronny.
The first few stations were showing signs of trade.
Having an authorization letter from the Commander helped him to get stations that otherwise would be unavailable to him.
The only annoying factor was the shipyard in TUS near Aldrin,seemed to be plagued by a never ending stream of Xenon.Maybe later he could employ the use of the Hub which his father ,Norman, had assisted in reactivation,could somehow be used to redirect them.
For now though he just called in his Hyperion to deal with Qs etc when needed.

He wondered if his father would have taken on all the missions that were available at the time,if he had not taken ill.But then again , Ronny was glad to have had some of the most exciting tasks in the universe left for him.
Destroying the Kha'ak Hive with just one capital ship full of missiles and Laser Towers for example.He could almost hear the explosions around him as he remembered that one!

Then there was that annoying Captain Pearl.He'll never forgive that captain for getting his favourite ship destroyed while scanning operations were underway. "How I got out alive I don't know " , he mused to himself. "Suddenly the whole sector was against us."

"Tell me this is important ,Rusiris,or I will cut you off comms as I am quite busy right now" Ronny said as he was interrupted from his notes.

"You would lossse out if you did that,Ronny.It is a loophole in universal law regarding trade and research."

Ronny's ears pricked up.Loopholes?The only holes in the universe that are allowed are worm-holes,and we can't do much about them,except harness them for our gate systems.
"Ok ,You have my attention.What loophole?"

"The Code of Trade and Resssearch preventsss anyone except Government Agenciesss from resssearching EQ for their own ussse...What if I were to tell you that you could do your own resssearch and produce for EQ for yourssself?"

"How is that possible?Do I have to smooth talk the Terran Commander some more?" asked Ronny.

"Simpler than that . Do what the Yaki did."

"You still speak in riddles Rusiris.Get to the point. I have heard rumours of Yaki EQDs."

"For a fee..."
"I knew it involve credits! Carry on." interrupted Ronny.
"...I can get legal represssentation for you to declare yourssself as an Independent Government.That isss what the Yaki have done...
You have bought a sssector with a few planetsss you can colonissse.You have a central point of command.You have sssome trade with other racesss.You have a limited peace-keeping navy for ssself protection...
You fulfill the basic criteria for Independence.Thus you qualify for research and development."

Ronny haggled the fee a bit,but it was a difficult deal.Just what price could he put on such an advancement? What would his father have said if he was still alive?
He would of course have to wait some time for everything to go through.He may even have to increase his navy and sit behind a desk all day,but it may well be worth it in the long run.
Getting too old to be charging around the universe.Time he faded into the background and let diplomats sort out the problem with the Argon.
What in the universe is his Independent Government to be called?Up until now it was his name on a Corporation.Now he had to think higher...much higher.

He had still to get a Silicon Mine L for the Terran UK sector SW of Oort and other factories were still needed in the the one south of Oort.
From now on he referred to them as TUK sectors 1 to 4 respectively.

He sat at the bridge.
"ok...undock...full acceleration forward...warp to sector TUK 2...select satellite as anchor point there."

The Ozias dropped anchor clamps from the Shipyard.
Even with full acceleration,it seemed an age before he was clear of nav lights.
Then the ship lurched forward momentarily as it opened a wormhole and entered,reappearing what seemed seconds later ,next to his chosen anchor point.
This new technology was a great time saver in the Sol System as the nearest jumpgate was at Neptune.
He had been granted access to the new Warpdrive Technology to help him speed up the process of delivery in Terran space,but it did not speed up the rate at which his credits came in.
So he still had to wait a while between station purchases,unless of course it was a station which was non purchasable by lower ranked traders.
Then his letter from the Commander overcame that problem.
There were some nice stations he would not mind being able to purchase for himself at some point.
He wondered if they would ever become widely available.

Once he was stationary nearer a central adv Sat,he scanned the 'roids list on his console.
Yes! there it was.
He ordered the deployment of the mine on the 64 yield 'roid.
He really liked the design of these Terran Mining rigs.
The Commonwealth ones were still based on planetary based rigs and you only had to look at them to realise that.

Having placed all needed stations in all four TUK sectors,he brought in some skilled LT3 traders,one to each sector,to assist with trading there.
Then he had one each in TUK3/4 doing sector trade only.And tried out a couple of CAGs in TUK1/2.
Whether these last four traders would have an impact he did not know.Time will tell.

But already there are is a steady stream of traffic from Oort Cloud and beyond down to TUK4.

Talking of Oort Cloud,there are also two mines there.
So the required stations will be the same as TUK1.

When finished he added an LT3 pilot and kept the stations under his control for now.Then he went to Pluto...

Later he commed the Commander at TUK4.

"Yes.What is it?" asked the Commander.

"I hope you are happy with preliminary results.But here at Pluto I have ran into a problem." Explained Ronny. "The problem is that although some stations can sell Flavour Packs,and other stations can buy them,no-one seems to know who makes them! I am wondering if they are planetary products delivered by the Atmospheric lifters."

" I can't say I have noticed that before.Indeed I rarely think of where my food comes from.It might put me off eating ,if I did." he chuckled." But since you mention it,I will investigate this matter for you.Can't promise any results ,but I will see what I can find out."

"Thankyou Commander.For now I will have to make arrangements for local production with the USC." he signed out.

...Atmospheric Lifters,or Atmos as his father called them,were ideal for remote command when building complexes.Unfortunately the governments ordered a self-destruct atmospheric shielding be installed in case of hostile take over.So the only ones used elsewhere cannot land on planet surfaces due to burn out long before arrival .
"But I may just get one or two at some stage.Would useful in my own sector." he thought to himself.

He sat at his terminal checking what he had achieved in the previous sectors.
He was out of credits now and had to give his small trading company time to boost them up.

TUKs 3 and 4 were improving.

In both these sectors,extra stations had bee placed by Terran authorities ,so things were looking good.

Then he checked Oort Cloud
The first thing he had to do was transfer needed funds asap to the Ice Harvesting Fac.
