Your words - 'I'm not talented to say the least' - Are more or less exactly the same words I used of myself, and although I don't claim to be a great author - I realise it wasn't talent I lacked, just confidence.

I was directed to booksie.com by a forum user and published some of my writing there, and I soon found that I was a lot better than my confidence believed it was.

Why not post something up there and get some response? Drop me a message on the site (I am Gavrushka - easiest way to find me is click the link in my sig to Harvester) and I will read whatever you put up.

Another 2 excellent chapters, chapter 4 opened up a miriad of possibilities while chapter 5 had Ed suffering again. :) I find myself hessitating before i read a chapter, giving some ponderious though on 'just where will this one go?'.

Excellent, i love it. Can't wait for more ...

Hehe- I actually have a muse for this one now - And chapter 4 was absolutely 100% her creation - Without it I think I may have admitted defeat - Now it has a life and a direction.

BUT I think I became a Romance novelist... LOL..

...Hey it looks like Even Kipling might have a suitor... :D

Chapter 6 is titled 'Alice in Wonderland' by the way...

And I can promise that Christmas will be something to grumble at over my shoulder as I am hunched over the keyboard.

There will be a lot more to come, but I have to devote most of my time to other projects, but there should be several chapters of this each week too. :D

I know it is not quite what you'd expect to see up here, but I thought 'What the Heck!'

I should get at least two or three more chapters up prior to Christmas.

Please - I am delighted to hear criticism and suggestions - This whole story would have died out if not for some input from a young lady last week.

Enjoying the story so far, and starting to recognize some things too :) Not sure what ship Ed got, but sounds something boron if the fluent lines are anything to go by (excluding Paranid, as it wouldn't fit I have the feeling). Also, like the way you portrayed the Teladi, greedy & scheming.
