[Chapter 09]
Resources
"A merchant, it has been said very properly, is not necessarily the citizen of any particular country."
There are three primary Resources in the known universe from wich supplies every econoy is flourishing and from wich absence every production runs dry.
These resources are Ore, Silicon and Energy. Of these three resources, two are limited, so it's them, who dictate the state of any production in the known universe.
Energy is at itself nearly limitless. Being provided by the stars themselves, it's limits are only the millennia that count a stars life - and the silicon available to make the crystals needed to store this energy in handy E-Cells. Since Energy is needed to make silicon and form it into crystals, and Crystals are needed to store Energy, these two resources could - in theory - nourish a thriving production between them.
However, besides Energy and Silicon, Ore is needed to build both stations and Space Ships, as well as weapons and shields, making it the third of the primary resources.
Ships and Stations where, what Jona intended to produce one time, and for that he needed resources, yet he only owned manufacturing stations to this point - except for the silicon mine in Asteriodbelt.
To change this, the former Goner decided to search the Teladi and the eastern Argon System for Asteroids capable of supporting a mine for Ore or Silicon, leaving energy business aside for the moment, as it was easier to bring a power plant to the mines, instead of bringing the mines to the power plant.
Profit Center, PTNI and Scale Plate Green weren't promising, so he just went on, selling some of his 'roid mapping to a local company interested in it.

I don't know why, but my savegame obviously was consumed by the cycle of life. It's totally done for.
The Question is, should I restart?
Aldrin Adventurer Start would place me at a position where all but the terran plot are still unsolved and I could script every asset back in, with the Factories set back to there default accounts.
Or should I take a fresh start?
Anyways, I'll make the best of it and start with a fresh install and an altered set of modifications.
