Thank you, Cycrow, for what _could_ be the last major part of the system I want in order to play large scale battles (Gazz's Complex Cleaner and MARS are the first two, with Player Owned Equipment Docs and Xai Corp's Equip Ship As being the others).
I'm still playing Reunion, and will be for awhile, but the next game up will be TC.
A) Would it be possible to set up a queue to automatically run on newly created (or bought) ships - based on some scripting thing, or name+location (i.e. Your LX at Headquarters, or Your Hyperion/whatever in sector X), or matching a template (naked LX owned by me, perhaps in sector X)?
Goal: to have my scores of fighters actually manage to turn themselves into something useful - dock at an EQ, update their cargo space (POED or TC equivalent), buy extensions, preferably call _another_ ship to run an Equip Ship As (i.e. to manage supply) and otherwise simply dock at the Fleet Supply complex and equip themselves, start MARS running, start MDM (or TC equivalent) running, turn Missile Chance to 0%, and then set itself to something harmless until I need them?
Regardless, this is a potentially stunningly useful script - particularly if it could be extended to also import and export queues, so we can share ones we've created (and/or be able to submit "here is what I do to cause bug X in script/mod Y" reports).

The ship didn't move as far as I could tell. It took less than a second for the order to reset. I even tried giving it a 'go to sector' command first followed by a 20s wait but that did the same thing. Tried it on different ships as well (they were all TSs).Cycrow wrote:did the ship even dock or did it not move at all ?

The queues that run straight away work but saved queues just flash on and straight back off

Having the same problem here. Saved Queues behave just as described and don't do anything. But I can run the command directly on a ship and it works fine.madpainter wrote:Same problem hereamirite wrote:The ship didn't move as far as I could tell. Also, the list filtering (or whatever it is) doesn't seem to work. I can put a Dock At command in the queue followed by a Buy Ware command, but the list of available wares does not filter to the previously selected station.

holy ****, I thought autojump makes a following ship jump with the followed one without confirmations, now I get it, great new feature, thanx! Anyway, I´ve never done more scripting than enabling the script editor, but after 20 minutes of looking into the script and text files I managed to add Jump command into the original list of commands and it works perfectly. Guess I´m a dumbass and a genius in one person :)

hi,
if i understand it correctly its a script to make commands list with normly ship software commands, right?
Why does it use a hotkey? is that not easier to use an extra ship command in the menu?? and then u can add command like Delivery Ship (or supply i dont know the command in englisch^^) and next fly to the trade station??
i dont unterstand actually the funktion of the queues.
sry for my bad school englisch. I am from the German forum^^ and look after nice scripts

Craziness!
Cycrow, egosoft needs to just give you and LV jobs as team leads making your own space sim. too many fantastic ideas wrapped up into one person. I cant wait for this to work again, it will be another piece towards finishing my perfect space sim masterpiece.
Just to check, this hasnt been working with 1.4 right? cause if it is, I would love to use it.

[REQ] Command que
heres my basic idea, i think a fair amound of people might find it useful also
an extra command (under special, i guess?) that analyzes the commands the selected ship is cappable of being order to preform, then lets you select several and carries them out in the order you selected
i would image you select the que command from the normal command window, then basically it emulates all the normal command except that giving it one command won't make it go away, you have to select finish, and ideally is should tell you what commands you've already qued.
extra features would be to edit the list? so you don't have to start it over if you give the wrong order mess up one step...

That was my health bar?
