i insist...and I said without messing up..so no stuttering.....and no speaking slowly...my record was somewhere in the hundred thousands- that's without messing up..anyone can get really high...but without messing up is the challenge...

:lol: Too bad you mates can't look back into the archives of the other forum...this topic has been around for sometime.
Each time I read something like this I see more and more ideas...and alot of them have been said before ( they're all good ideas too).
Last I knew the Dev team was talking about or had made a ship/TL that was specifically for moving/stealing stations and moving them through gates or something to that effect....Its been a while...but I do remember it be written on the last forum.
As to the repair/ ship maintainance...I believe I said something to that effect last year about this time :lol:

And I still think that there should be something like that..
Have to retune the engines after so many Kilometers...or perhaps have to get new engines after so many tunings or repairs.
Also I think that batle damageshould be shown as well...and kept with the ship until one can get to a "body shop" , fix it themselves or until one buys another ship. :)
And I think it might have been either Old man...or maybe even Fuzzy or Steel that said it might be too time consuming or something to that effect.
Some of the older members might remember that thread from the last forum...

Anyway...I'll step down off the soap box and let someone else rant and rave...remember the rules...no throwing rotten fruit when I turn to leave...only fresh fruit and vegetables....have to stay healthy :)

yes...i think there was a screenshot of the big claw thing that could move stations...i was going to use that as my repsonse as to how you could defeat the iddea of grand theft .,...uh station :? and it would be rather suspenceful knowing that the police were coming to investigate...like an assimilation of GTA..ah well...i didn't care much... :P :P um what's that about the fruit and veggies? :lol:

Maybe it could be that you dont hire individual pilots for each ship (too costly and time consuming) but you can, if you want, hire "heads of staff" for each factory.

So you could hire :-

"Trade Manager" who can sell products at a better price than the AI normaly would, perhaps he could adjust the price to make better/larger sales (selling bulk orders and such)

"Resources Manager" same as above but for buying the resources at better prices bulk orders and so on.

"Production Manager" improves production rate.

"Defence Manager" organises defence grid/lastowers/fighters to more effectivly defend against attacks.


Of course all these would be optional. You could just let AI deal with it all free of charge (though slightly less efficiently)
