Seeing you have the logitech 3d pro maybe try more rolling with the strafe. Its an effective tactic, but the real reason is its pretty to watch the pretty green bullets spiral around you.

Even more reason not to fly optimal setups all the time. I've never understood how people can wax on about how crap the AI is, yet you can't pry them out of their LXs. I agree, you have to tie your hands behind your back to get a challenge. To be fair though, there are very few games with agood AI.
