As an April fools joke, I told people at work that I liked them, and that I liked X's new haircut, and that Y's new outfit made her look slimmer. And I had to write my business goals for the year, and said I would work hard for the company etc.

some of us (those that pay the license fee) may argure it was a little too well done, ie expensive.. now if they had got His Eminence Attenborough to talk over the clip it would have fooled three times as many..

As a fellow license payer I'd agree that the Beeb are splashing out spuriously, but this isn't one of the things I'd single out. At least the Penguins were mildly entertaining, unlike some of the other stuff they come out with.
