The Independent Mod has seen some adjustments which you can read about in the original post; it is now past the greater majority of it's bugs and functions as well as I'm likely to be able to make it.

I have included a .spk installer version for Part_III of the mod for anyone who prefers that methos of installation; also, all parts of the mod are now in standard 7zip zip format for those who prefer not to download executables. Installation instructions are given above.

I have done all I can to fix bugs, account for various factors in game, and make this mod as hassle free as possible; please give it a try, and maybe bump this thread once in awhile

seem to have lost my part III with all the ships..

any chance anyone out there still has it? I'd like to recover the modified models at least, or even just the one.. or not.. not really all that important i suppose.

If anyone has it and feels like making xsp of the ships; you're welcome to.
