Shut off xtended shipyards?

Can anybody tell me how to shut of the xtended shipyards and is it worth it got both m0s and dont want to have to restart please help if
you can! :?

Oh i have bad graphics with the astroids too its all black no detail really hard to see :evil: :evil: :twisted:

why cant i dock at the shipyard?

i just restarted x3 with the xtm mod + a few scripts and a healthy wedge of ship scripts. problem is when i start at argon prime, the shipyard shows on my HUD but the local map does not show it so i cannot dock with it.

is this a rank issue or has a script sent everything titsup??

How should we tell you, if a script is the cause of the problem, when you don't tell us which scripts you're using?

Xtended and 360 controllers

Hi everyone, i'm currently playing X3 Reunion Xtended and decided to try it out with my wireless 360 controller for the pc, on launch it says it detects the controller but in game it's a hell of a mess config wise.

Ive tried to map the controller using the ingame options but the controller doesn't seem to show up, so i downloaded Xpadder and for the life of me i can't get that to work, does Xtended kill the configs for the wireless controller? if not can someone tell me where i'm going wrong?

Hey everyone. I need help getting XTM to run with my game. I don't know what information you will need to be able to help me, be I'll tell you what I can think of for now. If you need more, ask.

Anyways, no matter what I do, X3R seems to crash about 20 minutes into any game after installing XTM, even fresh starts. I can save a game in the meantime, but the game will crash soon even if I load the new save.

I'm running Windows 7, the latest version of X3R, and these various mods:
Bail Rate Extension, Bounty Boost, LV's Cheats, Fight Command Software MK3, Local Trader, Neumann Gui, Race Response Fleets, Salvage Claim Software, Low Poly Asteroids, X3 Cockpit Mod.

Lemme know if you can help, please. I've had XTM working in the past so I don't know why it crashes unfailingly now, but without XTM installed the game runs fine.

[EDIT]: When I checked the Mod Status report, it said PASSED.

Problem with weapon loadouts

Hi, about 10 minutes ago The turret loadout in my Hyperion changed without me touching it putting only 1 gun in all of the turrets. I tried to change them back and it let me select a different gun and load it but then it just swaps it back to something else (seemingly randomly) and no matter what I try (loading guns from the HUD) doesn't work. I had a similar problem with capped q's and k's but I got round this by reverse engineering them and rebuilding (the ones I built don't have that problem) I really don't want to RE my Hyperion yet as it is my personal ship so I was wondering if there is any other fix. Oh and I've been flying that particular Hyperion for about a month with no problem it only just started doing it.

oh and I'm using bail signal extension, steroid creator and relocator, FCS MKiii, some of the guilds, factory complex constructor, remove rocks and low yield roids, bounty boost and a few more I forget. It's the latest version of XTM and 2.5 x3

@elfgene64 my bro had the 360 controller working with xtm he pretty much just plug and played it I think he ha some trouble with the button config too tho if u like I can ask him?

Does the otas hcf have any rep requirements cos it won't let me buy it from the otas shipyard, let's me buy the reaper and elite though...

Edit: it let me buy it when I wasn't docked, happy now Thanks tom

problem with NPC freighters

Is there a bug in the extended mod that causes the NPC freighters all to disappear over time?

It seems there are a lot less NPC freighters at the start of the game and as if they aren´t being replaced when they get lost (destroyed).

Now I have started a game without the extended mod, and I´m even seeing NPC freighters going through Ore Belt and other sectors where there were none with the xtm.

What could be causing this, and how can I "restart" the NPC freighters during the game? I´m not getting anywhere when I continue having to start a new game after a while.

X3 Reunion 2.0 and Above with XTM

I've got a question. Does the addtion content from X3 Reunion 2.0 and above still work with XTM running? The quests, I mean, because I still found the Hyperion as a spawable craft.

What you are referring to are the Bala Gi-missions, right?

I found two ways to do them with XTM running:

1.Playing the Story mode and getting the prestige and money required. Eventually I got the message that starts the sub-plot to get the Hyperion.

2. While playing a custom start... you have to play with the activated script editor then and start the script manually. I forgot which it was though.

Okay, cool. Because I got the cheat extender to work, finally, and I've gotten the prestige and the money and the station, but I haven't gotten the message. I'm thinking that's because I've only flown for four in-game hours.

Stupid question: What´s the suggested order of installation: XTM first and then the bonus pack or bonus pack first and then XTM?

Perhaps the order is important considering the problem of the NPC ships disappearing: It seems to me that UTs would show their destinations in the property overview with the XTM installed. Without the XTM, they don´t. This would mean the the XTM modifies scripts of the bonus pack, wouldn´t it?

Judging from what I've read in the german XTM thread, yes. This is a known bug in the latest XTM version. There are however some mods that fix this problem, for example this one.

So, this means I can't have that massive player HQ? That's why I got X3 in the first place!

UPDATE: I stand corrected. I just got the message to start the Bala Gi missions just now!

Xtended 0.7.5 HCF not working for me?

Hello, I have installed the Xtended mod on X3 2.5 and I have this issue...

It seems I can caputre ships by shooting at them and getting the pilot to bail, but I heard to capture the Xenon P that is in Xenon Grid 2, even though this is unoccupied, I cant claim it in my spacesuit or using the system overide software... so I devided to save and buy the HCF as it seems on most forums the only way to capture it...

I just saved up and bought a HCF from Otas shipyard, and equiped with mostly with ion disruptors and have bought some (100) teladi war droids, and have on numerous attempts tried to cature Blastclaw and Kea ships as a practice run. I didnt want to go over my head with a Xenon K or J as a newbie.

However the problem I have is evey time I try to capture the ship the target remains hostile (RED) no matter how many troops I send over... I can send 1 or 50 troops, but nothing seems to happen. the ship computer goes "comand accepted, autopilot activated" and then I wait, and my turrets are still shooting at the ship im trying to cap. I send more troops, somtimes 1 at a time, and can see them dissapear from my cargo-hold, but nothing is happening. I also scan the enemy ship and cant see the driods on board... is this normal?

I have reduced the tagets sheilds to 0%, the ion disruptors are blasting on them all the time from the top turrets, so I dont think this is the main issue.

I am within easily within 500m of the target, so dont think range is the problem either...

All I can conculde is the ship im trying to capture may not be able to accomidate L sized Teladi war driods, due to its freight bay being M or smaller?

I have read the tutorials so I think there is a problem with the script maybe... As what Im doing should work, right??? :?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could supply some info please. I recently installed X3 reunion 2.0 game of the year edition, I updated it, installed the bonus pack and have also installed the Xtension pack.

I started the game via custom game, then X universe as I thought that was the only way to get xtension working as when I tried to quickstart I was getting messages saying some content was missing.

Im now wondering if Ive done the right thing as theres no plot lines in the game. Ive been playing for a few days now and have managed to scrape together about a half million in credits so really dont want to start again but would rather start again now than start again after a month or so.

The Extension pack added "90 odd extra sectors and loads more cool stuff to find including new ships" so the best thing would be if I could have the plot lines working and also the extenssion pack working.

Anyone have any thoughts, help or advise please ?

If your getting a message saying some content is missing, then I would install XTM again. If you only have half a million, then starting again is'nt really a problem. :D
