Hi Cycrow,
Just wanted to ask about a message I received from the BBS which said this mission would be available for approx. "0" mizuras?
BHG Time/Payment
Also Ive found the amounts payable to be random between killing and capturing......Sometimes the capture price is half of what the killing price is.....Is that right??? IMO the capture price should always be worth more than the killing price because it takes more thought from the player to achieve.....I know it still boils down to being somewhat random no matter how well you remove shielding before chipping away at the hull, but I just think the extra exposure to danger trying to capture is worth the extra cash Every time.

well, the times are just esimates, so if its 0 mizuaras, then you dont have much time left to actaully kill them by the bounty is removed, basically it means the bounty will be traveling to its final destination so if you catch them b4 they reach it, you can get the bounty, otherwise, when they dock, they will jsut disappear
the prices as sposed to be differnet
because sometimes the ppl setting the bountys will either prefer them to be killed, or prefer them to be caputred, so they offer a higher amount
there are times where they will only pay for the kill, or only pay for the caputure
the ones where they just pay for the caputre tends to be worth abit more
but if the price for killing is abit higher than to capture, then it means they prefer the bounty dead, but will pay you some if you bring him alive

Warning
This script appears to be broken in patch 1.3 or could be showing up some bug in the game
either way, it could cause you game to freeze and go into a sound loop
i suggest not using this until i can fix the problem

Thanks for the update, Cycrow. You might want to edit the first post as well:
A few days ago (prior to 1.3), I entered a sector to clear out some pirates which had attacked one of my UTs. A Harrier, a Nova and a Falcon Vanguard. The first two I could take out like normal, but each time I distroyed the Falcon, the game quit with a "This program has performed an illegal operation..." etc. That has never happened to me in X3 before. I tried reloading a few times, but it happened every time. The second the ship got destroyed, or the pilot bailed, the game quit. I solved it by going out of the sector and ordering my M6 to take out the ship.
Not quite sure why I mention this here, but could this be related to this or any of your other scripts? Could this Falcon have been one of the bounties, and the CTD happened because I destroyed it without having taken the mission to destroy it?
Probably not related, but ...
On another note. First: I've never actually tried a BH mission, but I've paid the million credits to join.Current Version: V2.50

Thanks. Just got dumped out of the game again after a similar experience...
(went to a sector that had pirates attacking my UTs, game quit when taking out a Buster)
I don't think it's related. I just read your first post again, and noticed that bounties should not appear red to me. Well these were both very red.

i've gotten really huge numbers. no, they're not being removed...
from what i've seen, the ships arn't returning to stations and disappearing, rather they form up on some other bounty and follow it when the bounty time expires, which leads to the 'sector full of bounties' phenomonenon i mentioned earlier

most files should just overright, however, to be sure, u could delete all the al.bountyhunt.* files
what you could also try is in the al.plugin.bountyhunt script, u could change the number for the loadonce varible, that will cause the one time script initilise to happen which will remove all bounty ships and restart fresh
i will look into finding the possible problem

lol
-85 statzuras and 14 mizuras. things like that. not sure what that is in earth measures though
oddly back when the numbers were still positive I couldn't find the targets either which means they weren't there, or were out of the range of my Advanced sats I have everywhere.
