I don't see much sense of guessing. All i got from the rouge translations they planning to make our "life" easier than before but with more detailed universe modell. Im not sure what is all means...
As for the missions...
All i hope for the missions will be more likely in the X3 Reunion.
Even the reports suggesting there won't be any familiar interface all i hope for the main menu will be there from Reunion. Especially when you see any of your ship n open the main menu of it and you can adjust the homebase settings....
and we will be able to go back back n forward step by step
X to X3 is MENU SUPERIOR! I think Egosoft has already worked out our doom, because Xenon AI will reach the stars!

I bought my DVD version of X games from gogamer (www.gogamer.com). They are just a few blocks from where I work, and they also shipped every where in the US. Mind you I was the first one in the US to get X3TC when it came out!!!!

Also problem with new i3 i5 i7 processors is more ram you use more load you put on your processors and thus less effective they are.
The amount of ram doesn't change the CPU clock or performance - the FSB clock will change the rate the ram squirts data at the CPU, which DOES change performance, but not the AMOUNT of ram!
I hope that there are a couple of basic things in this next game...
1 being a good reason to take over a sector whether it be xenon or whatever... I found it useless in previous games to even bother... Other than to feed your ego, there was no point..... hopefully response is swift and deadly ifyou take someones sector.
2 good portraits and sound overs... no more cartoony avatars
Thanks for the reply. I checked a couple of months ago after they released the superbox. The patches were not available then and I thought they were not releasing them to the public without purchasing the superbox.

its not the amount of ram but the amount of ram channels in use
but it only effects stability when overclocking, because the memory controller is on the cpu itself, the more channels you use, the more strain it puts on your cpu, so the less you can overclock it before it becomes unstable
but doesn't effect the performance per clock just limits how much extra power you can squeeze out of it

But it is not clear why fights last very small time and to the present will take pleasure in them there is no possibility. Very much it would be desirable to see really long fights, accordingly the ships are obliged to possess really very power shields and strong hull. Creators X Rebirth, please don't do feeble hulls and muffled shields, give to players will take pleasure in game to the full! I ask director Egosoft to print an inscription "Bread and Shows" and to hang up it in an office of the game designers.

If you wants longer fights (at least longer capital fights) Id recomend Cmod 4 and SRM for TC, ofc im going off topic here

That is only your opinion, and I strongly disagree with it. I would never buy XR if takes the step back to a frustating, tiedous combat system.
Did you ever fight in X2 with the main line of guns (no PSG/ID/MD) ? It is all but impossible to take a ship 2 classes larger than yours, or even 1 class if it is faster.

From the video it was deduced that the AI used not only the run-by tactics, but now also uses strafing, so at least it seems we could get better fights for fighters.

I hope that EGOSOFT will improove the effects in X-R both graphically and in CPU optimization (it should be shame on EGOSOFT that since X2, through X:3 and X:TC there had to be CMOD again and again to fix & ballance weapons and their effects).
Also I hope that it will be possible to have jump animation similar to Xenon P2P jump in Terran Conflict intro movie.
suuuuuuuuuuupa cant wait to see what spec I need, I hope I dont have to upgrade my pc to play this game.......... I hope to see crew on capital ships instead of flying alone also I dont like the way friendly races turn against me when one of my ships hits a friendly during fights with enemy races this should be a case of friendly fire and should be rectified by taking out some sort of insurance or being fined by the affected race instead of the whole race turning against me. I have another idea, being able to design your own ships would be fab.........................come on space bopppppers ad more ideas

should it not be almost impossible to take a ship class thats 2 higher than yours? i know i am exaggerating a little but an M5 SHOULD NOT be able to take on an M2, an m5 is cheaper for a reason and although it is nice to take on an M3 in an M5 you SHOULD be dying almost everytime....in my opinion
