Seriously, this is one man stupidity because of his views don't work with the CDC. He is a quack, has no medical knowledge and is saying stuff that is going against sound advice.
In the UK as of September 2022, healthy children under 12 are no longer routinely offered the vaccine, though those in high-risk groups remain eligible. This policy reflects the assessment that the direct health benefits of vaccinating healthy children are marginal, given their low risk of severe illness from COVID-19.

So, changing vaccination policies to better align with reality, is not just an RFK thing. Targeted vaccination makes sense. Wholesale vaccinating everyone with every vaccine forever does not. Except of course for vaccine companies and their captured medical "experts". Follow the money trail and you likely will find corruption.

[EDIT] As of May 2025, the United Kingdom has decided to stop routinely offering COVID-19 vaccines to pregnant women. This change, recommended by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI), means that from spring 2025, pregnant women will no longer be eligible for free COVID-19 vaccines under the national program.

So, not just one mans view. Will you now be accusing the UK medical system of being run by a bunch of quacks?

And that is before a new variant of Covid has been detected,
A New Covid Variant Could Drive Up Summer Cases

“A new Covid variant that’s gaining momentum globally has landed in the U.S.,” NBC News reports.

“The World Health Organization announced last week that it was monitoring the variant, NB.1.8.1, following a rise in cases in several parts of the world, including Europe, Southeast Asia and North and South America.”
So information could change again, but what will RFK's response to this be? more likely turn a blind eye.

I don't know what he will do. HHS now mandates that all new vaccines undergo placebo-controlled trials before approval. That is a departure from previous practices.

He will probably assess the risk, vaccine qualification, and issue a targeted, measured response. Sounds reasonable to me. Who wouldn't do that?

Your serious right? from an administration or should I say Trump who disregarded COVID the first time, and killed a huge amount of people as a result, now you have a quack who claims a lot of BS about COVID anyway, no, I don't trust he will do the right thing. I dont think Trump will either, both will just turn a blind eye to this latest outbreak.

I don't know, maybe
- someone who claimed Covid was targeted at certain races against all evidence (and later lied and claimed he never said that), or
- someone who claimed social distancing rules are worse than what Nazi Germany did against all evidence (and later lied and claimed he never said that), or
- someone who claimed the covid vaccine is the deadliest ever against all evidence, or
- someone who claimed that gun violence is caused by video games and antidepressants, and that gun ownership has been constant in the US in the past 20 years and on the same level as Switzerland against all evidence, or
- someone who claimed chemicals in the water turn children transgender against all evidence, or
- someone who claimed that AIDS is caused by drugs, not a virus against all evidence (while showing "health freedom ohio" in the background, which seems to be an anti-vaxxer org), or
- someone who repeatedly claimed vaccines cause autism against all evidence (and even claimed it was "a Holocaust"), or
- someone who claimed vaccines caused food allergies in his kids and regrets vaccinating them against all evidence, or
- someone who claimed 5G networks cause canceragainst all evidence, or
- someone who claimed lyme disease, the disease spread by ticks, is a bioweapon against all evidence, or
- someone who claimed in his book that germs don't exist, and Miasma theory is real against all evidence (in a chapter titled "The White Man's Burden", WTF?), or
- someone who claimed that WiFi opens up the blood-brain barrier against all evidence?

Why should he suddenly behave 100% opposite to the way he behaved all of his life?

And holy heck, that dive into JFK was a trip. I mean, I already knew he was a total nutcase and a quack but damn, I did not know how much :o I did not even list all the wacko claims he made ...

@Mailo: Good job with the list. Perhaps you should author a book titled "The Real RFK Jr.". :)

I thought I was done with RFK for a bit, but this made headlines in German news today:

MAHA report cites non-existing sources and quotes out of context, misreporting the results of studies (I just noticed this site requires registering, here is a freely available report).
The report contains 522 quoted papers, seven of which do not exist. The supposed authors were contacted and replied that they never wrote anything on the subject. On 20 further papers, the results were falsified, the papers showed the opposite of what the report claims.
Additionally, there were dozens of quotes with errors such as broken links, missing authors or wrong numbers.

Upon question, the White House claimed all this was "formatting errors" that did not affect the conclusion of the report (which makes sense, since they probably started with the conclusion based on ideology). Also they refused to say who actually wrote the report. In the German article it was suggested that it was written by ChatGPT or a similar AI with little human oversight, which would explain the errors.

This is the new "Gold Standard in science" that RFK promotes ... stop studies into areas where he knows the results will contradict his ideology, and fake and twist already existing studies to fit his narrative.

I mentioned that in one of my previous posts, but yes, this is why the man can't be trusted. He has his own views, and wants to push people towards those views, regardless of facts. Such a man is dangerous, especially when many of his views are just BS, or goes against medical practices and the wider briefs of medical staff in general.

Such a man could very well turn whatever gold standard America thinks it has on medicine back into the dark ages. And such a man should never have been given the role that he has.

I doubt he will take the latest outbreak of Covid seriously, in the same manner he has taken measles seriously.

So SCOTUS has sided with Trump on this matter
Justices Allow Trump to Revoke Legal Status for Migrants

“A divided Supreme Court on Friday cleared the way, for now, for the Trump administration to revoke the temporary legal status of more than 530,000 migrants from four countries who have been allowed to live and work in the United States while their immigration cases play out,” the Washington Post reports.

“The ruling is the second time in recent weeks the high court has given Trump officials permission to terminate programs that protect immigrants fleeing countries wracked by war or economic turmoil.”

New York Times: “The court’s order was unsigned and provided no reasoning, which is typical when the justices rule on emergency applications.”
So ICE thugs will have a field day, and I doubt they will care if someone is illegal or not. Trump will get his quotas, and no one will bother to show up for courts, as they will be rounded up as soon as anyone gets there. A real mess this is going to make.

I would say, this court is clearly corrupt, and getting worse. They cleary giving Trump more and more power, while the tariffs is still being assessed by the court of appeals, if Trump loses that, he will bump it to SCOTUS anyway, in that matter, I think it will also be divided. But SCOTUS is going too far.

Well, heads aren't rolling at the CDC, instead they released a statement that contradicts RFK.
CDC Contradicts RFK Jr. on Vaccines for Kids

“Coronavirus vaccines are still recommended for healthy children if their doctors approve, according to updated immunization schedules published late Thursday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, contradicting Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s announcement earlier this week,” the Washington Post reports.
And something else Observe, while much of the world, include the EU and Britain did try and give out good advice about Covid at the time, (but could have been better in a few places, as well) the covid shots were recommended and pushed people into having them.

While the across the pond, what was that orange idiot doing? what was his advice? your forgetting, that under that menace, a huge amount of people died, and plenty of states didn't push people into having the jabs. So a lot more Americans are still going around unjabbed and a health risk to others. There is a huge difference in the way that the US handled covid compared to the rest of the world.

So yes, the CDC is still saying healthy kids should have a covid jab. As its probably because they might not have had one before, or the risk of infections is far higher then the UK or the EU. And with this new strain, this will only make things worse. So RFK announcement comes at a bad time. But I doubt he will retract it.

Trump Pushes Countries for Best Trade Offers

“The Trump administration wants countries to provide their best offer on trade negotiations by Wednesday as officials seek to accelerate talks with multiple partners ahead of a self-imposed deadline in just five weeks,” Reuters reports.

“The draft, from the office of the United States Trade Representative, provides a window into how President Donald Trump plans to bring to a close unwieldy negotiations with dozens of countries that kicked off on April 9 when he paused his ‘Liberation Day’ tariffs for 90 days until July 8 after stock, bond and currency markets revolted over the sweeping nature of the levies.”
Until he backs off again, I doubt country will be interested in talking to him, so just more hot air.

Isolationist policies are the most idiotic thing to push right now. China has been expanding its sphere of influence for decades already and the more we isolate, the more vacuum we create for China to fill. Trump has got to be the single greatest thing to happen to China in my 45 years of life. If Democrats were even close to being as media savvy as Republicans, "China Trump" would be echoing everywhere.

Only if you don't care about the vulnerable people who can't get them.

The greatest value of vaccinations is establishing herd immunity to reduce infection rates altogether. Not only does that help to inherently protect everyone from infection (including those who can't receive vaccines) but it gives viruses less opportunity to mutate into something worse.

That's really it. American culture is largely about oneself. It's not about community or helping others.

There are exceptions. But those people numbered less in this last election.

So Musk got fired by Trump, and Musk had a meltdown, saying "I just can't stand it any more!" And later on, Musk is now openly attacking the spending bill, and Trump, But what did Trump do? not really much.

Lawrence: Musk vs. Trump. Trump's silence on Musk's budget bill attacks proves who’s afraid of whom

Worth watching, Trump is clearly afraid of Musk. So this will likely increase.

Thats the thing, Trump will retaliate against most people who attack him, But with Musk, just either retweeting an old message, or try and change the subject. Musk must have some dirt on Trump. Only thing that would make sense.
