Not really, it would be, disable, quit, redownload in case it was a corruption problem, then install that and start it up again.
In fact, if all goes well you might just be able to download and replace all the files without even turning the plugin off in your game, but it's risky...

In the main interface, just buy the Transporter software and not the PSS software. That will allow the use of the Trasporter device for trading.dpadula wrote:Is there a way to get just the transporter trading software? I found that in my game the PSS seemed to cause issues for me. More important question for me is, what issues is it causing you? what is happening in your game.
If you give some details i can try to find out what is causing it and fix it.

I will retest it again in a bit. I think that I noticed slowdowns when I had the PSSS part active. So that is why I really only wanted to license but again I will check it out further once things are running properly again. I am waiting for FDN, PM, etc. to be updated.

Close message (which you shouldn't get), kick computer really hard and yell "that damn MarCon has done it to me again!"I get a message that asks if I want to clone a station just after I receive the message saying EJON freighters are about to arrive. What do I do with that message?
You shouldn't get that message but it is using my 'Clone Station' Script to put ecomomy boost stations in place. that message should be skiped if called by another script.
v1.2 is the latest version, but the only difference from v1.1 to v1.2 is the inclusion of the German text file.

See my previous post (2 or 3 above about null messages).
I've tried every iteration clean install including a complete
new X3 TC from the 2.0 DVD up, but still seeing the null message
at the the 5 minute warning. ( including a fresh game start up )
I'd have to add the false Clone Station message to my bug list
also. ( see above)
I even tried the Xp mode that comes with Win 7 Ultimate, but the game
failed at the start up.
1. Could this be a Win 7 x 64 problem?
2. Is that false Clone station message coming from your Utility
with the same name?
I think this package is a great idea.
On a different note, what does it take to get docking permission
down at the Weaver's Tempest PSS Station?

The clone station in the script is a direct copy of my clone station utilty, it was written for this purpose, to be used stand alone or to be called by another script to add copies of stations to the universe.
I'll look into these issues and see what i can come up with as to why.
As for Weavers Tempest, the only way to dock will be if you have sufficient notoriety for them to let you dock.

Ahhh, I can't seem to get this up and running. I honestly don't have a firm grasp of how these kinds of things work and have been leaning heavily on Cycrow's plugin manager to get mods working. Though I did figure out how to fake patch. (For one mod that didn't work with it)
Unfortunately this doesn't appear to be a mod and so I am now completely in the dark. I downloaded the SPK thing from the first page, the plugin manager said it was in it for a moment and then it vanished from the list.
It still says it's there, as at the bottom it says ten plugins available, but there are only nine listed. So now I don't know what to do, I'm not even sure what the files are called so I can remove them and try again. I'm stuck.
Any help would be appreciated as this really does look like a neat addition.

(TIP: If you ever need a list of included files and there is a ZIP or RAR version available, download it and extract. That way you can see all the included files)
Try reinstalling it with the latest version of Plugin Manager (PM) and see if that helps. If it is listed as installed by Plugin Manager just removing the files will not remove it from PM's list of installed scripts. You need to do this from within PM.
Give that a try first and see how you go.

I'm going to give this a try to see if it makes the game more playable. i think it should be compatable with the battle star galactica mod.
The skunk really is a bare bones model. It doesn't even have a GPS to highlight the way. Or targeting software MK 2 to allow target selection and painting from the sector map. It lacks a Trading System Extention to show prices in the sector you are in. The lack of satellites in rebirth is also annoying to the trader/pirate looking for a mark.

Anyway, AFAIK should still work/be compatible etc., so it's still very much out here for grabs, and someone has offered to host it anyway, will check if it's dead now.
