If not try re-installing the BP, may help.

Again this is NOT a patch, this is a collection of scripts created by the X-community that were signed by Egosoft.

I have the bonus pack installed as i bought the 2.0.02 GOTY w/ Bala Gi Research missions editon.....

Once again, the Bonus Pack and the Bala Gi missions are separate entities. The Bala Gi missions are part of the 2.0 patch. The Bonus Pack, if you have one with your game, is a separate install, and is probably out of date anyway. You should download the BP 3.1.07 version from Ego's download page if you haven't already.

If you have the even V2.0.0, you need to get at least the 2.0.02 patch. There was some more stuff fixed.

The V2.5 patch also has some good stuff, but it will still run ok without it.

And yes, the Bonus script pack you have is old. The new one has some more commands.

i hae the bons pack installed that comes with the GOTY edition of X3 (which is wierd that o many eople seem to be confused bout this, bala gi is from V2.0 X3, but the GOTY edition also comes with the bonus pack install on the disk...)

and i still have tht probl, i also dont ha the attack rocks command, although i may download the newest version asap..

I don't think any of the disks have the newest version, of the game or the Bonus Script pack. So you will need to download the new stuff.

Also, the install for the Bonus Script pack allows you to chose which scripts to put in. You might not have had them all checked off.

You should be able to uninstall the whole thing and then re-install selecting only the scripts you want.

You don't need to un-install the bonus script pack, just run the install again and uncheck the script. It will remove it.

You can only un-install scripts that are not being used, by you or the NPC's. The savegame files include copies of all scripts that are actually in use.

But if you have not used the command, it should not be a problem. Otherwise, make sure that it is turned off in all ships or stations that used it.

Hey guys,

Is there a Mac version of this update? If not, is there going to be in the future?

If there isn't, I guess I'll have to investigate using BootCamp to install windows on my shiny mac... =( in which case, I'd have to buy a new copy of the game, sigh.

I would imagine this should be something that VP support though, since they are supposed to support the mac version...

I'll look into it. I'll probably end up getting a windows version anyway, just to use some of the tools/addons etc here that i can't use atm. Installing windows on my iMac though...seems a bit...dirty =p

You should not need the Win-version. Simply unpack the Bonuspack in Windows, and copy files to Mac. You probably need a dummy file called 'X3.exe' in a folder for the Bonuspack installer to believe that you have X3 installation.

I just tried using CrossOver for mac to run windows programmes on mac, it'll run the bonus pack installer no problem, but keeps telling me it can't find an installation of X3 in the folders where i tell it it is. I've tried putting dummy "x3.exe" files in, and renaming the actual installation from .app to .exe but that doesn't work either.

Any other suggestions???

Right, well in that case, I'm gonna have to find me a computer with windows installed on it... =D

Ty, I'll let you know if I have any more problems...

EDIT: I just tried doing it in Leopard, making a new folder instead of trying to mess around with the actual X3 folder, make a text file called X3.exe and used CrossOver to launch the bonus installer and it worked!

...now I just need to find where in the mass confusion of "Show package contents" that I need to copy these files to...

EDIT2: And easier way than this whole issue...if you go to "X3 The Reunion", right click "show package contents", then contents>resources, show package contents on the next X3 The Reunion icon that appears in that folder, then contents>resources>transgaming>c_drive>x3 it seems to be all the windows files for the game. If I choose this folder as the destination for the bonus installation, it installs fine =)

Now to check if it works. Sorry for the mass edits, but I'm kinda excited cos i've been trying to get this bonus pack to work for weeks lol...

RESULT: works!!

I'll probably install the Bouns pack some time, but before I do, I must ask, is there a dronish wage-free version of the CLS? I don't want a living, breathing, money-sapping pilot to ferry my cargo between places - I just want a big, stupid Best buy/sell mod to be a cargo drone for my factories.
