Can anyone tell me what readtext 17-10263 goes with?

I believe I have discovered it relates to

Code: Select all

SS_WARE_SW_CUSTOM2_2

but I can't figure out what it is. . .

This is ware item 102.

As far as I can tell, nobody has claimed it for use.

Not everybody who uses EMP says what ware their using.

There a mirror where I can get EMP for 2.01?
Cycrow's site simply is not loading (I've tried multiple browsers), and using google has given me bad results.

Yes Cycrow seems to have been abducted by aliens. Does anyone have a copy of this they can post. I suspect that it is the reason why I cannot run many mods on BG v2

Wow, Now I can actually get some of the mods to work. Jake I owe you a 25 year old MacAllans single malt sometime :-)

Do you have any clue what is up with Cycrow ?

Just a quick question on installing the EMP. I am running patch 1.4.03 (because I will be running the Xtended mod, at which is not ready for the latest Egosoft patch). So could I install the EMP 2.01 while still using patch 1.4.03 or do I need to use an older version of EMP?? Thanks in advance for any help.

there are some minor changes with the wares file in 2.0.02 and if you use the new EMP, these changes will also be in your game, even if its 1.4.3, however, it should work fine

the xtended mod includes an EMP compatible TwareT.txt so you don't need to download the EMP aswell ;)

Thanks for your help Cycrow and Stevio. I did install the EMP 2.01 before Stevio replied so I guess running EMP 2.01 and the EMP that is integrated into the Xtended Mod together will be ok? Or should I uninstall 2.01?

The EMP false patch will be overridden by the EMP in the Mod, as Mod files take precedence over patch files.

If you are raising pirate activity, give me meaningful ways to deal with them PERMANENTLY. Better things to do than replacing ships every 10 minutes, or babysitting ships getting harassed.
Stopped playing X4 with 4.0 due to outrageous, needless and pointless nerfs to everything. Don't change what wasn't broken in the first place.
