Hi Cycrow,

I've started to get a message on the BBS saying "ReadText7122-1". When I checked the list of command lines, i saw

"7122 - Multiple BBS Scripts by Cycrow"

so I'm assuming there's a problem with this script.

Any ideas how to sort this out?

I'm running your overtune, assassins guild, BBS extras, mercenaries guild and bounty hunters guild. Also running A dj's advanced mineral scanner, Tychouse's TykPack and (unsuccessfully so far) Ashley's factories mod. I installed Overtune and TykPack before I started using the script installer, they've both always worked OK so far.

Any help much appreciated.

Loving your scripts so far, this is the first problem I've had with any of them.

its the overtune script, it sounds like ur using an old version

7122-1 isn't actually being used anymore so its not longer in the text files
try downloading the latest version, and it should fix it

New version downloaded & installed, just flew around to 5 or 6 stations and didn't see any erroneous messages.

I have a little question for u guys..

Does anybody having prob's with the Capitol ship script.
The prob @ me is that i have bought a Ray that way and a Shark and now i wanna buy a oddy.
But it doesnt show up any more @ pirate stations and i dont know what i can do about it. I asked Cyrcow but he doesnt know either.

So are there ppl with the same prob??

Is there a limmit??

And what about ReadText0-1 does that have something to do with it?

I've seen three offers for cap ships, none were at a pirate base. That's not a complaint, just an observation.

yeah, it did make it have a slight chance of showing up eslewhere too

althou it shoudl be more common at pirate bases

I had it pop up in three random stations in three different sectors, in the span of 45 minutes.

Again, I'm not complaining at all, just making it known.

well, it *should* be slight, it was a priority of 5, compared to 60 at pirate bases, but of courses, theres always a random factor

Hahahahah last night i had visit every trading station in the whole universe because cycrow said it show's up there too. And stilll...........................nothing OMFG.

I give up is there an other way to get an oddy whitout the sick rep u need.

i really dont know y its not showing up, the only thing i can think of, is that its been displayed on a bbs somewhere that u missed, and now its not displaying until that one times out.

if thats the case, all you have to do is wait. i take it everything else shows up fine ?

I'm gonna start a new game tomorrow and then we see if it show's up. If it does there is something wrong in the script about how many ships u can own.

If it doesnt show up then i think it's a prob in my script folders or something.

I keep getting BBSs with little messages in the top left hand corner like "text ####" or whatever, but nothing else.... Not sure if that's from updating to the latest version of this script or from 1.4.2 which I just downloaded recently too.

Although I've not seen ANY BBS adverts to upgrade ship speed or anything... So just thought I'd mention it.

Edit: Wait just realised I hadn't installed the updated version of the Overtune script with the script installer thing.... So will check to see if it all works again next time I play.

what are the actaully numbers, usually theres 2 sets, ReadText####-##

if you know the numbers, then its easy to track which script its from

Sorry for asking, but i dont use any scripts at all, but gaining rank for capital ships is just a pain in the ass, and i dont have 2000 hours to do so, and the plot is boring. So, I have installed this script and its the only one ive ever installed.

Im not sure if its working, to get it working, ive used the script managed to install it, it says its enabled, ive also enabled the script editor with thereshallbewings.
is that all I have to do?
