As for the title of the thread, ever noticed the Subject line above all the buttons for bold, italics, underline, etc?

For replies it doesn't really server a purpose but for the first post, that is where you type in the title of the thread. All you have to do is change what's typed in the subject line to change the threads title. :)

I would help, but I simply don't get time to play at the moment. Since starting a new job, my main pc doesn't even get turned on most weeks, never mind used for what it was built (X3 of course :p ).

The only time I get on the forums is usually thru my phone :(

I did get time to watch the latest vid earlier tho - nice :D

I can't help prior to your Holiday TJ, however what I will TRY and do is form a save or two for the matches due after your return and upload them and PM you the links - I cannot promise this but I will use best endeavours.

This will remake my battle with Wildjames.

Make sure you move like 10km from the center, I've not set it up how you were able to roam around while the battle was going on.
Make a director folder, drop this in and rename to bigbadaboom.xml. Load up a game then confirm when you are ready.

I'd like some folks to check it to ensure it functions similarly to how TJ has been doing it.

Can't say I purposely did anything thing though, just followed your suggestions on F3+Numpad 0. And there wasn't any editing :P

And yeah, Youtube says that the video is still being processed. Might have to wait a while before 1080p is available.


EDIT: Aro, your director works. Too well! :P
I choose one of the death match sectors and as soon as I spawned in a message came up. I said 'yes' and was killed in half a second by a Xenon Panther shooting a barrage of PALCs at me :P

Any way of setting the Xenon so that they don't shoot you and giving the host sometime (to set god mode on, etc) before giving them the choice to activate?

Oh and stemardue, that song you made is EPIC! I love the chorus :D
In what free time I have, I'm making a clone of Space Invaders but themed around the Kha'ak. Mind if I use your song as the main menu theme? (Yes, of course credit will be given)

Oops, guess they are eager for more...
Default clear screen button is 'Del' so you can do other things then activate it when ready.

I've not looked at the script you use to set up fights, could maybe add it to the director code. What all gets set up?

the most important thing you missed i guess it rotating the ships.

when spawning the ships they all face in the same direction (north?). So you have to rotate one fleet by 180 degree. I didn't find any line in the md file that rotates them.

and i set the notoriety xonen -> player to 1000000, so the xenon do not attack the player.

otherwise it looks good.

Well I use two scripts. I use the cheat package to supertune, set god mode, unlimited salvage insurance and no collisions to 'On' plus I install all available wares (triplex, vid enhance, boost extension) and add the initial salvage insurance to my Buster. I then use the XFF script to set up the fleets and start the battles.

In fleet set up, I can choose what ships (already maxed out on tuning, engine and cargo) and what cargo they carry to spawn.

Oh also, Xenon for some reason don't attack the player but they still appear red.

And stemardue, awesome! Just don't expect anything soon :P

Yes, please do that!!
However, the rotation problem is the same in the original script used with Fleet Fest - as I have stated a couple of pages ago. I don't know if it is even possible to change that. The only workaround might be to change the battle axis form North-South to West-East. So both fleets would have to do a 90 degrees turn. Not the best solution, but at least fair.
