I will be doing a short series helping test the mod. I don't want to start a full massive campaign without it being 1.0.. I'd hate to get people pumped up for an epic play through only to restart with every update.

are there any add on stuff for this i wanted to play as a space junker and only make money by ship salvage was wonder if anyone made starts i could always use cheats and give myself a yt class and salvage gear i guess

I've been looking at this older mod that allows you salvage special loot from some wrecks.. pick up and train mechanics that can use this salvage to over tune one of your ships. Making it Faster, or more maneuverable ect. The mechanics have skill levels that go up as they are used.. and can repair larger ships if they are assigned to them. Its an interesting concept.

I'd like the ability to "customize" my favorite ship. Think Han Solo and his custom work on the Millennium Falcon. This could be a mod for it. I have not tested this script at all..

I believe you can sell the salvage for $$. So bam a new way for players to play. I've added it to my test list.

Early Testing - So far I'm having a blast. Last night I found myself zipping around fighting off imperials and Terran's testing some of the combat. Had 2 Hammerheads join me holding off a small imperial force at an Argon Gate.

Great fun!

Few notes I've made.. please keep in mind I've only been testing .9 for a short time.

-No Rebel TM?

The imperials get the Gazanti that can carry 4 Tie Fighters under its wings which is AWESOME! Well done on that. Looks great. But the rebels don't seem to have an equivalent low cost military fighter transport. For those of us who enjoy doing missions for early money and like having a small fighter squadron and a TM Base. Here are a few idea's. Please correct me if I'm wrong and just don't see it in game....

Modified CR-90.. Maybe make it cheaper with less guns?

Awhile back a mod called.. slipstream drive I believe would let you accelerate to a really fast speed but lock your ability to turn and drain your weapon capacitors... and if you used the drive to close to say.. a station or object it could toss you out of "slip stream" throwing you off course.

Last time I tested the mod I couldn't get it to function as the drive didn't seem to work. "still doesnt it seems" Maybe its built for an older version of the game?

Would something like this work as a sort of Short range Hyperdrive? To help remove some of the down time of flying from Point A... to point B?

That image you showed me is just a standard teladi shipyard, teladi classics is on its right in the image.

There are two TMs, Magnatar which s the vanilla and the Zephyrus, which will be the "FarStar"

I cant remember but I think i made the CR90 and the Gozanti STD type able to carry a few fighters. Ill check and will fix if its not working.

I think It shouldn't be a problem.

Here is a patch updating the YT-1300 cockpits.
*Scratch effect glass.
*fixed Bump map, now proper lighting.
*totally reworked cockpit for better visibility and looks more like the real thing.

Well I see there is a CSI Providence-Class there and the Lukrehulk, Recusant you can get from the Boron/Mon Calamari since its their design.
What else are you looking for?

I check the previus saves those ships were not there, I done the update of the game since you realeased new version, so that might be the reason.

I try to use the Lukrehulk it exploded imideately and the providence is working fine. I loaded the game again and scouted all of the Teladi standart shipyards and they still all have the Teladi ships. I didnt manage to find any Venetor (there was only one non telady ship that i founded), now to think about it, there is actually lot of ships missing that are shown on forum as done. Never saw for example at argons A and B wings. Heavy shuttle, or none of the ships from rouge one. I double check readme in its just copy paste basicly.

Or did i missed something and didnt install it?

Thanks Cap, but i havnt updated the X-Wing cockpit, it has no lighting or glass, I'll do that very soon though then it will be something else)

Hmm, Ok i think I know wht the Lukrehulk explodes, I though i fixed that issue though,ill check out, will patch it.
So you still looking for the Venator, if I recall correctly its in Grand Exchange.

ANyway, here is a patch

Here is the patch for the S-Foils and the jobs. Also other X-Wing and Y-Wing have a R2 on board.
Added "Blue Squadron" X-Wing.

Hi, congratulation to the progress of the mod. I like it very much and it comes closer and closer to a full star wars space sim atmosphere. :)

Minor Bugs:

I don t know if it s on purpose but the t65- xwings have a see through hole between the wings if you look at them from the side.

Harrower docking still not working.


Questions:
Is the star wars 7 Millenium falcon actually in the game? :? I couldn t find it but i remember that mike has created it a while ago.

So I dunno if anyone else has this problem not directly related to the mod, but I've been using a PS3 controller to play this game, with much success. But recently the game is not recognizing the z axis I have set up for the controller, and it's real annoying.
