I notice the you have not tested these mods.

Lost weapons mod
Improved missiles mod

These two were working before 2,50 but when i gave 2.51 a try it seams they are partly working or not at all depending on game start.

I can only test the ones I use personally, the rest I rely on people like you to tell me what is and isn't working, that's why sometimes something might not be updated straight away or even added to the list.

Hi NZ-Wanderer

Haven't been playing for a while waiting to give 3.0 a try but i have been retesting my mods setups some i've already mentioned to you that have issues and i've come across another one Worldwarx mod and that been causing crashes and as before it was working prior to 2.51 maybe need a relook at.

Also to let you know i found out if you load more than one mod at a time and in wrong order that to causes issues as well and that mite help a lot of players if they reinstall each one and test play then install the next one yes i know they end up in alphabetical order they don't work if you load in the same way.

Even though this loading works the game it self is so messed up and i've no doubt 3.0 will not fix it.

I was wondering you may have to start all over again on 3.0 release good luck on that one as i'll give 3.0 a try with out mods and the first game issue i'll binnit and never play it again.

Hm, u sure about that? o.o
They work fine for me (except the known problems which are mentioned).
Do u use the latest versions?

Also didn't get any other response about trouble with some gamestarts, since that was fixed months ago already.

Yes i'm sure and i kept all mod file upto date as when they were updated.

Before 2.51 all weapons and missiles were available and used by the skunk now after 2.51 I found that certain lost weapons are no longer sold by any of the weapon traders and i'm picking up all types of dropped missiles but only 5 types out of the total amount are showing in inventory and if i buy any of the ones that don't show they still don't show in inventory.

The ones that do show and can be used like v.crushers they seams to be ok but not firing self guided ones they turn back at skunk fly off behind and then go off in a wide ark to the target and before you say it because i'm moving this happens at full stop so i don't think there's any improvement.

Even though i'm not playing the game in full play anymore i do keep the mods up to date and test play to see if their improvements or updates work.

I'm not holding my breath that the game or mods will be any better when the main 3.0 update is released and i'll test play that without and with mods but my guess it will be another bug filled crap update.

Kinda off-topic right now, sorry for that. :D

Hm, sounds more like a mod-update related problem to me.
Did u try a new gamestart? If u tried the mods on a save with a new custom gamestart before they received the new update, things are messed up and can't be fixed on a exisitng save.

Also missile flight behaviour is still vanilla, i didn't touch that part.
(I have the same problem currently, with both, vanilla and my own missiles. :p)

If a new gamestart doesn't fix things, then i'm rly confused and just have to hope that i'm able to reproduce the bugs somehow. :s

Yes i did a new gamestart i tried every way and with only the two mods in question and there issues i did find the missile mod working in the mercenary gamestart but not the lost weapons.

if these mods were working before 2.51 and not now and updated asap then what is it are Egosoft trying to block mods as they make the game better and egosoft useless and i could list a whole lot of errors that are in the game now that weren't there in 2.50 and as i said i just retesting my loaded mods ready for 3.0 update and i have no doubt that will be a wast of time.

And while i was testing in mercenary start i notice that skunk turrets mod working but it wasn't in main campaign etc.

You're trying to do a good job for us players that grate and if egosoft did the same it would be a lot better and you'll be on a losing battle it the tested mods don't work with 3.0 update good luck with that.

Lastly some mod may work for some and not for others and that may go for mods working or not with other mods as well.

From your previous posts, Jess, I feel like your setup isn't the best for working out whether mods work or not given the problems you've posted about vanilla v2.50 beta and vanilla v2.51.

For example, saying that WWX is bugged because it increased your rate of crashes may simply mean that it is accentuating a pre-existing issue rather than being representative of a bug with the mod.

How about i post all your comments or why don't you post all the other players comments that have issues with this totally screwed up game.

The fist comment of mine you posted was not an issue it was a request to what mods should be incorporated into the game and the post got blocked.

As for WWX i don't have crashes since i deleted it explain that! those issues were not there before 2.51 but are there now may be you're right about the mod but i can only report what issues are there may be other are having them but not putting two and two together.

The main problem here is someone asks for what issue players are having with 2.51 and others butting in and say its the players fault not the game or the mods.

The game is so F'd up and egosoft have made an apology about it but instead of correcting it they make it worse and if the game works and the mods don't its up to the mod maker to correct it and as i said the mods make the game better but they don't work if the game don't work.

i'm not going to bothering with this game anymore or the help with this post and don't bother replying as i'm doing what egosoft do block it or ignore it.

I have this veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery slight feeling that JESS 246 never ever played XR (maybe v1.0 and refunded or *cough* Steamfree *cough* version), I wouldn't bother much about what he/she is saying.

All of the posts are like this
"Egosoft is shit, game gets worse with every update, [exact copy of comments/critics of other users], [fictional bug report]".

So NZ-Wanderer might want to remove this sabotage act on this list again. :)

I made this thread originally to HELP people out by telling them what is working and what isn't...
I really don't want to have to ask a moderator to come in here or to ask them to close the thread down, so please if you have things to say about rebirth take it somewhere else and leave this thread to what it was intended for. :)
