I was planning to move the ANH sector to another location, perhaps some new names and contents to make them different.

Some stock exchanges were not included, since the sectors are not claimed at the start of TC (these would be built at the relevant plot position).

Stock Exchanges...

Have you activated them?

If so, please remind me what I need to access the one in Argon Prime.

Most of my traders are ready to ST .
Once they can LT 3 sectors I will improve on Boron rep.

Very smooth play so far :)

to activate the stock exchange in Argon Prime you need to build something in one of the Argon sectors (doesnt matter where).

edit...

NAVIGATION problem
================

Command : Navigation\Move to Coordinates.

If I enter
0
or
25,25,25

my ship just goes to 0,0,0

Is this a bug or am I entering something wrong?

I have only just tried this,so not used it under vanilla yet.

25,25,25 is *extremely* close to 0,0,0 - close enough that you probably can't tell a difference. See if that same thing happens if you go to 25000,25000,25000, which should be some 40km away from the center of the sector.

Glad it not a bug.

I misunderstood the grid refs.

So regarding ANH, as I said my idea is to move the sector the player gets to a slightly different location (theres a number of unused coords around there). Of course this still leaves the issue of naming conflicts, so I guess either the ANH or AP sectors would need new names?

The only other thing I can think of is have them as unknown sectors to start, and the player can claim one if they do ANH before the races claim them?

I like the first option more - create a sector with a new name, etc.

There is a new sector with another ringed planet in AP.
Can't remember which one,but there is more red in the colour, than the brown in Twisted Skies.

I really do like backgrounds with ringed planets.
They look good with the PHQ in front :)

Great thread, wonder how I missed it for so long. Imo if someone wants to re invent the wheel and they are happy to give their time up to do so why discourage them?

Surely ego can't be worried about someone using AP to make TC what it was destined to be? I can't imagine Bernd and the team sweating over loosing sales in X:R because TC evolved into what players have been crying out for, for 4 years
Still life in the old dog yet...

Now that is useful.

Thanks mate.

You not not amuse me with your typically English dry wit in some posts, but you also offer useful information more than some others do :)

Why not spend time importing TC plots to AP for those who like the TC plots but want what AP brings to the game such as fixed OOS battles and a much improved UI?
I'm one of those 'players' that would love the TC plots be in AP where practical an possible. My own ultimate dream would be this with the option also of No Commonwealth Terran War. Simply because playing the Plots is enjoyable even if done once before but with the added benefit of the Game play in Albion. What one person considers as "needed" could be "pointless or useless" to another an that is good also! As that person does not need to use that part of the Game possibly.

I'm sure I comment for many that can't be bothered or not have the time too but watch an hope on projects like this being continued and working out successfully.

So thank-you an please continue.

Done a bit more testing.

Bridging mission for Terran Plot works.

The Exterminator is waiting.

No Goner Osias or Goner Mission start in Elysium of Light .
Not even remnants of Goner Station :?

DLC sector is there without the SPP M
Not that this station was anyway important ,other than giving a leg up for the Goner start.

BTW,using Humble Merchant start.

Havnt got time to check right now. The Goner plot start has a condition of having at least 1 goner or argon owned station in the EoL sector (14,5). Dont think I broke anything there, but do check that, and if not, perhaps try cheating in an argon trading dock or somthing.

Oh and it seems the game must run for a few minutes before some stuff happens there incase you cheated yourself straight there on a new game.

I'm also doing "testing" but have very little to compare it to. I've never done the plots before but I am now. I'm slowly going through the plots as time progresses. Right now, I'm doing the Terran Defender TC plot.

If I find something that is obviously broken I'll let you know asap.

Elysium of Light has stations there.
Wheat Farm
Cattle Ranch
SPP
all owned by Goner
Not the nucleus of the Goner Station.
The Goner Osias is not there either.

I first went there via a legit play while waiting for my Boron rank to go up to do the Hub.
Testing the Hub to see if my scripting attempt last time had messed with it.
So playing without "cheats".

Double checked by restarting with Argon Patriot which puts you in Omicron Lyrea.

Still no Osias or nucleus of Goner Station.

So atm I can continue the Terran plot, build up combat to activate FF,and wait for boron rep/trade rank to set the Hub plot rolling.

Confirmed - SyncViews, looks like you missed the Goner plot file. I added it to the cat and the Ozias and Temple appear normally.

EDIT: Also I can confirm that both the Goner and Balance of Power plots at least trigger and begin correctly. Haven't played them through.

Goner plot worked fine with Syncviews first few releases. I havent tested the most recent yet so he must have forgot to include it.

Welcome to the forum and thankyou for assisting us is play-testing.
Most issues you may have could just be vanilla game related, but ask here anyways,as the first question we often get asked in the main forum is "What mods do you have?". Then they refer us back to the Mod thread..

Most of what I have done with this mod is running ok so far. Just some issues with the plots activating.
If you could concentrate on completing a plot ,that may throw up some issues.
I am concentrating on getting reps for the Hub plot to activate.
This plot is needed for some of the other plots to be activated.
If you like combat missions, the Final Fury mission ,via the Exterminator in Omicron Lyrea is a good one to test.
For activation requirements, check the FAQ in your Ego Control panel,to the right of here.
