I would like to install the X2 demo, but I can't, because i have X2 and X2 rolling demo installed, and it says that "another version is installed (that is X2 or X2 rolling demo, not the X2 demo). Can't I do something so that I may have all 2 demos and the game installed? Thanks

u can change the language to anything by simply editing the lang.dat file.

or use the Plugin Manager to adjust it automatically.

if your talking about the audio, then a patch will never be release with the different audio files for several reasons.

It isn't up to Egosoft to decide what editions get published. The last word in that sentence gives you a clue who does make that decision: the publishers.

might be better in the long run if egosoft just bought a publisher out (yes i know bank loans etc, then used thier idea of how it should be released to carry on the run in publishing) that or sell direct to customer off thier site and make the game themselves.

This would then put some idea into wether its truly publishers telling companies to get a move on that causes bugs (i personally believe that there should be some legal foothold for games designers to be able to claim back against a publisher that gets them bad press due to the publishers rushing of the title) or if its lasyness of the dev team, i am sure by now egosoft can definately prove its not them being lasy

well another speculation i came up with for the patch, defence turrets built into stations, or even a proper docking space like in teladi and argon stations

To be fair I think X3 2.0.0.2 is a great game as it is, its my most played game ever. I still play mostly in unmodified mode.

Its sad to say but the main thing that bothers me with X3 is the view from the Split Caiman (standard ship) which still hasn't been fixed. This for me illistrates really how good the game is in its current format (dispite some of the other problems like lack of bbs missions etc). I fly the split caiman all the time dispite having 8 hyperions....for some odd reason I just like trading

SO I'm odd too. But the difference is I fly a standard Mercury(fastest), I play modified with basic scripts, like: sector takeover, dock ts, taxi software, yaki armada, (non guild), and I have one Colossus, 1 Hyperion, some fighters, and a trading armada
Oh, and I use 2 mods: Ashley's XXL fabs, and argon cockpit mod

IMO the interview of Mox has much more educative content than the vague "other news" paragraph.

Sure, do you mean as in Personal Computer (but only if it is a native 'Windows' machine and not any other OS variant of Personal Computer), Police Constable or as in Politically Correct...?
