I am afraid this may be a new bug introduced as a dev has confirmed this (I could not bought a police license, as it is "consumed" as if it were a ware). Let's hope that you (and I) can catch the EQ/TD when the ware is restocked.pja wrote:Thought I'd do a restart with v1.1 so I've gone for the Argon one. Thanks for the mod, having a great time with it. However, after installing v1.1 I can't claim bailed ships anymore. When I press "i" while the ship is targetted, the claim option is not even there anymore. Is it only me, or a new "feature" introduced in the new version?

p.s. the eqd AL is also responsible for restocking certain items, if you turn it off while the ware consumption is enabled EQD will consume wares too
as long as the EQD al is enabled EQD are safe from the ware consumption AL

Damn... I was hoping it was kind of an install problem or something. Thanks for confirming. Is it possible to get v1.0 back from an archive somewhere? I'm still in the beginning of my game and I don't think I've even seen such SW anywhere yet. Wait whats that do? and where the hell are all these named files? i cant find any of them but theres abunch of numeric files that look alot like them. Also is the cargo bay shielding supposed to be sold in units? i'm wondering if its supposed to be chaff but instead its appearing as cargo bay shielding.
I also noticed theres no taxi missions--4 sectors just had roid scan info no taxi missions.

Has anyone been having a tough time framerate wise after playing for a fair bit.
Im 4 days in gametime wise, and am getting 20fps in some of the larger systems on normal difficulty ( as this affects the number of fightwings/jobwings etc in the universe/current sector).
Started off with 110 in sparser sectors and 50+ in heavily militarised core sectors. Id expect performance to drop a fair bit as the universe is expanding outwards and new stations being built, but i dont see how its possible to have a decent firefight the longer you get into playing X-tended TC.
Also sectors like sirius have a huge amount of polygons on screen as soon as you start a new game, shipyard, m1's/m2's/several m7's over half a dozen corvettes, plenty of stations and a large asteroid field. I had a look on my 1hr 30 minute new gamestart and got around 29fps with my e8200 ati 5850. iIs down to 17fps when emerging from the east gate on my 4 day game so zero chance of doing any combat in there.
This is a recurring issue with X3 but i do feel its particularily bad in some cases at the moment with XTC (on medium atleast). How does the universe cope with 50% or less jobwings and that line of thought.
So theres two issues 1) Huge number of polygons on the screen at once in some sectors especially when stations are clustered in the middle of the sector and they all can be seen from a gate and 2) The CPU overhead increasing over time as you play on.
Wont even go into kha'ak kyon emmiters at the moment thats an old x3 problem too that only cmod 3 was ever able to tackle with any success.
Anyway not bitching just drawing attention to some issues that will effect everyone.

What do I use to edit the .xml file?
I can find line 40 in notepad but it looks a little... different.

Anyone using 1.1 got problems with ship upgrades, can't get fight mk2 so to check I bought a new Barracuda and could only load jumpdrive, mineral scanner, seta? Tried disabling ware use in AI settings but no difference. Using windows 7 if there's a difference there?

I do that with nvidium but it gets far too easy to make money once you find an asteroid... which i have. your not the only one... I've got the issue as well... looks like the X-tended team fubared the patch.
