HELP! I read through the posts and so far VERY NICE but there are some open questions here before I will install this:

1. So if I do a hunt (maybe Split) for the Argon race I will loose Split AND Argon reputation?

2. Are bounty hunts recognized as illegal activity by the game?

3. Can you remove the loss of reputation when doing a bounty hunt? Maybe marking the bounty as pirate?

ok
1. No, you only lose ranking with the race of the bounty, not who the bounty is for, unless they are the same race, these are special bounties worth alot more money.
Its not in yet, but eventually u will gain rep with the race whos bounty it is

2. There not illegeal, but the race your attacking wont take kindly to taking out one of thier own

3. There are bounties against both the pirate and yaki so you can choose those if you prefer. Of course, you could alternate between races to keep ur reps at a decent level

a new update, now everything is done via the BBS :)

Oops, I messed up the dodgy mechanic's line in the T-File (Overtune Script). It should be "overtune your [ship]" I forgot to put the word ship in there, plus I messed up the display of the credit cost after that line, it's not placed correctly. Sorry, i'm a scripting noob lol I'll let ya know if I messed anything else up! :oops:


Edit: If anyone else finds errors in my edits let Cycrow know so he can fix them, thanks!

thee format for the overrtune has changed slightly, so it displays ur actual ships name instead it should be fine as long as you have the newest version of the script

hi cycrow,

I still have 6 lines for (5 for bounties 1 for hunters) in my AL settings, though i gathered from your posts that it should be simplified to 2. I've tried re-initing the script cache and I've saved and loaded many times since the change. any ideas?

just try q uick test, start a new game, load the scrpt editor, save and reload
then u should get a message, detailing the use of the script
if that doesn't come up, there its most likly an old version so just try compltly removing it and installing the new version, just delete all files begining with al.bountyhunt

also when doing the test, check if that time it did show up right in AL settings

* Added M6 bounties at higher levels in the guild
* Increaed maximum level in the guild
* Varied support ships
* Removed guild options from ships command
* Added viewing guild status in ship command
* Increased number of bounties throught the universe

Had some trouble since the last update where I can't actually accept the missions.

I'll try it with 2.4 though...

The bounties. They show up in the BBS but the boxes don't seem to activate where you say ok.

I presume the bounties are spawned when you accept the job or are they always out there and you just have to do it rather than accept and then do it.

nope, there is no boxes, the bounties are always in the universe weather u look at the BBS or not

the BBS just tells you about the bounties so you can go find them

Hi,
your scripts are really great. I have a suggestion for the Bountyhunters script.

It would be nice if you could copy the bounty from the BBS to your massagelog. I allways have to write them on a paper. Or is there a possibility allready?

yes that would be great.

ps - do the yaki ever fly yaki specific craft? i have seen them flying many other thing but never a raijin or otherwise.
