:D Ahh well, that one was taken in the lake district a few years back! Just happens to be about the most recent piccy I have on the system. A quick photo taken by a friend looking over the edge of the cornice after a morning and lunchtime session in the pub. Followed by a stroll turning into an unassisted ice climb...

We were climbing out of Langdale.

Used to go to the Old Dungeon Gill (about 100yrds from campsite)...

This year I took the easy option and rented a cottage in Grassmere for a week. The best pint is definitely the first one after getting back in from eroding the hills... :-)

Yep that's the same Langdale! The pubs are the Old Dungeon Gill & the New Dungeon Gill, normally go to the Old one, does some excellent food, some fine pints of ale (80 Shillings comes to mind). And occasionally have live music with good atmosphere!

Cup-a-soup?? Oh the Kenny's Dead mug. I'd just got it from work, so that was hot chochlate flavoured with about 2 fingers of whiskey.

My favoured pre bed tipple :)
