If i purchase a copy from the Ego store is it like with the humble store where I receive a steam key to activate on steam or is it like GoG where I recieve a .exe installer file?

I think I will prepare order too... even with the troubles of XR start, Ego proved once again their skills to keep upgrading and improving their titles... Once again, I truly believe they will do as well and as long with this one!!
I have 1700 hours now on rebirth after letting it down for a wîle ...

Thank you, though now another problem:

The steam page auto converted the game to Cad, which stands at 59.99, while the Egostore only sells in Euro at 49.99, but when you convert it to Cad it comes out to 74.03 a fairly large chunk more than the ego store.

Am i just reading the page wrong and not understanding somthing as the price difference between the two is fairly substantial to someone on a fixed income when it comes to vetting purchase locations.

It's emailed to you. Some people have found the email in their spam folders.

I did preorder X:rebirth and i kind of regretted it
But i see that EGO does what i always wanted from Rebirth so i decided to buy Collectors and preorder it.

I spent about 500 hours in XR, even though most of that time was my stations making money while I was AFK, but IMHO and for me it was one of the best in series. I have to add though, that I didn't play it as much right after start, which made a lot of ppl angry, but with modded co-pilot and all the most recent updates and additions.

The biggest sin of X-Rebirth was that it wasn't X4.
The biggest quality of X4 is that (hopefully) it isn't X-Rebirth

I wont be pre-ordering X4 untill I know for sure that this isnt X4: Rebirth

I will wait till we get more previews explaining features of X4 like the paint mod and AI commands (not just attack this spot on the map).

Is VAT included in the canadian Steam price? The German store price includes 19% tax.

Most modern UX designs have 'submit' as the right-most button. You'll get used to it
