Perhaps an idea would be an independent configurable player missile defence script? One where the script allows you to register what missiles a player owned ship will use against which classes of targets?garrry34 wrote:litcube I totally love this script my nagoya thanks you, I was wanting to ask would you consider adding a missile defense into the script kind of like mosquito defense I use USC ships so cant use mosquito defense, again totally love this...

...oops forgot to say please and thank you

Should be, there appears to be no direct conflict in their implementations.Strategist wrote:Is this compatible with CODEA
No, as far as I can tell from the script.Strategist wrote:, and does it check to make sure Friendly aren't in the way before firing?

I have a slight problem with following what's written above.Military Suppliers Job Script:
Copy !job.missilesupply.xml to scripts directory. Make a job that runs this script (if you're using vkerinav's xtra jobs, it's done for you). Note that a job's script field does not include "!job", so yours will look like this: "missilesupply".
OK So if I use vkerinav jobs for SRM I don't have to to put anything from Military Suppliers folders into my 'scripts' folder ?

Try using 7-zip to extract it (I think it was compressed using Deflate64 which Windows does not recognise but 7-zip - and perhaps WinZIP - does)Ulfarus wrote:Hi
Have downloaded Military Suppliers Job Script but cannot unpack it as it isn't a valid zip.
Is there somewhere I can get a working one, thanks.

Litcube I have a possible request, is there anyway this addon could control the missille selection for when I manually intruct a salvo, I'm using the salvo hotkey but it just shoots whatever missile is loaded, also is there anyway to use your addon if I instruct the ship in question to attack a station...

Military Suppliers Job Script Update
0.9b:
- Job scripts fun fact! If you don't set a command on the ship, the job engine will re-run the script on the spawned ship every time its spawn timer comes up. This doesn't cause a problem unless your spawn time is lower than the ship's initial wait, in which case it'll never do anything. Added a set command COMMAND_SUPPLY_WARE. Problem solved.

Manually instruct a salvo? Is that the vanilla missile barrage?garrry34 wrote:Litcube I have a possible request, is there anyway this addon could control the missille selection for when I manually intruct a salvo, I'm using the salvo hotkey but it just shoots whatever missile is loaded, also is there anyway to use your addon if I instruct the ship in question to attack a station...

well sort of, its the salvo hotkey al plugin, its for commanding multiple ships at once to fire a single salvo at your target, but from what I can tell it just trigger the vanilla salvo command on each capable ship in sector, for that out the hard kept wondering why my autojump in additional commands kept dissappearing, the hotkey needs the first slot free...

true, I just hoped your little miracle could fix it for me, its no biggy, I have a slight work around, I load the missile boat with 3 sets of missiles, and load the middle one, that way your addon uses the fast and heavy then if I order a combined salvo they will use the middle bangers...
...ideally I was hoping that your addons missile selection could be expanded to the manual salvo command...

Actually salvo fire is much more logical to spamming missiles as fast as the ship can (not that it does this all the time).
I was wondering if M8's and M7M's could be limited to salvo fire (simulates reloading tubes, etc..) and fighters allowed to do smaller salvo's or single missile fire. Would make sense overall

Weird. I just repacked it. Wanna try again and let me know?
I have downloaded the Turret Missile attack scripts just before with no problems along with nearly all the SRM and other scripts like extended horizons.....
I am using windows 7 at the moment....tried downloading it using chrome and then firefox using 7-Zip but no on both.
