What type of ships do the Terran's use? their own? Or mod ships, I'm about to break this baby open

And i have the newest script installer but get an error everytime i try to install the pack?

Xperiment Fusion Project - Help for a noobie

Hi there. I have been playing the completely unmodified version of the game for about 6 months and have been very happy with it.

I have seen much talk about the Xperiment Fusion Project and am keen to try it out.

I have downloaded the main download (95Mb), the script pack and Cycrows script installer and a few of the custom games.

Is there a simple, step by step guide as to what I do now?

OK, a few questions:
- if I install only the scriptpack will that be compatible with ITA version of the game (script installer configured correctly) i.e. will the scriptpack run alone without the mod installed?
- Is there a way to convert the game to ENG

I KNEW this was one of those games I should have bought in the original language...

all u do is un zip the files into teh main x3 folder.

right click on the zip mod folder

hit unzip files here.

point it at the main x3 folder.

Also u would be better of asking in the right topic :wink:

Someone spoke to me about editing the lang file in the root install folder of x3 to change the game version from ITA to ENG... would that help me in avoiding "readmetext" messages using this mod?

Its been said already but "fantastic" does not cover this mod. I have been playing since Sunday night and I was several hours in last night and I thought I would try the Hydra II, (been a long time to get a Hydra worthe buying). One problem howver I manualy docked two ships to the Hydra without probelm howver when I transferred to undock ship, M3 Nova exploded & me, during the undocking process.

Tried again this time with only one ship docked, still hit something on the way out & down to 50% structure.

Reloaded and only way I could get the ships was of course OOS.

Looking forward to getting to all of the sectors , long way still to go.

im also using the min hud mods newest version with your mod,, So far no issues.. I used the rename trick in the min hud post to make it work.. Fantastic!!

These 2 mods make the game SO SO SO much better..

do you have to start over when updating from V0.1 to V0.2?

if you want to change the language of your game, you can run the main exe with -language 44
to change it to english, i think you can also edit the register to change the language, but im not sure what the key is

IS ANYBODY ELSE getting an ERROR message when they try to install the optional script pack?!

It's driving me crazy that I can't install, CAN SOMEBONE PLEASE HELP?

Hi there.

I am completely new to modding / scripting - have been running the untouched version of X3 for about 6 months.

This XFP package seems awesome and has prompted me to give it a go.

I have downloaded the main file and installed it as per instructions. The Mod package is available on the splash screen so I assume it is running when I select it and start a new game. (Any way to confirm it is running?)

I have also downloaded a few of the game starts but can't work out what to do with them. Do I just unpack them into the main directory in the same way as I did with the mod itself?

Sorry if this is a dumb question.....

Perhaps if you wrote here what error message you're getting... Also make sure that you have version 1.70 of the Script Installer.

Well of course I'm using 1.7 of the Script Installer. The error message is the windows xp error message saying Script Installer needs to close.

It gets to about 14% complete installing and then it crashes, no matter how many times i've tried to re dled it.

Somebody please help, could be the fact that I already have other scripts installed?

I get a similar problem with the ship installer, only it happens at 50% when i try to take your ships and add them to xtended

its a bug unfortuatly, the new version of the script manager will fix it, available in a few days, but a tempory fix is to remove any of the scripts it installs first before installing the script pack.

its the overrighting of scripts that causes a problem

im not sure if this bug has already been posted but if your in the Xenon M0 and change ships to say a docked Xenon L, you crash straight into the nose of the M0, and typically a few 25Mj shields on a L is not gonna stop 2 10Gj shields now is it :wink: , however i was able to get ships to undock if i stayed in the M0
