Alright I got it working! After reinstalling the game 5 times and trying hundreds of different combinations of things all day.

THE SOLUTION: The libraries AND mods must be installed to both TC and AP (addon) folders for the mods to work in AP.

I installed the libraries and mods to AP like normal and the mods don't work, then I also installed them all to TC and the ones in AP worked.

Hy there ! tried to install the whole lots of recommended pluggins, (military and personnal transports + MEFOS ) libraries and such...
Nothing worked...
So, uninstalled game, and currently reinstalling..
Really want to use CODEA, as you see, even sent 100+ hours saves to bin!

One thing i NEED to check before reinstalling the stuff:
can I use the downloaded zips from german site as they are?
And by the way, can i use Cycrows manager to install them as archives?

Will use Lucikes Script Collection for X³: Terran Conflict ,
Its said on forum's page that all pluggins in it have all necessary english files and are up to date
Plus all recommended pluggins and more are included!

Edit again: that was a good idea, glad i spent my day reading forum!

Is this compatible with AP? Also when I try this with TC the fleet seems to want to job to the coordinates of 0,0,0 for some reason. Anyway to fix this?

I do use the Advanced Hyper-drive script with this, it's the only thing that I have that changes the jump drive stuff.

It's said somewhere it's AP compatible, you have to install to both TC and AP folders
BTW, to make it work, read the 1rst page and follow the instructions point to point, and it then should work ( tried for an hour to exchange a rookie for a lieutnant before seeing one ship was a bit far, due to too many followers encumbering space around carrier, then moved carrier a bit and it worked fine)

Ya I had it working with TC eons ago, but then I put in the AHD script and it started jumping to the 0,0,0. All well I'll try it again. Thanks.

CODEA is a bit finicky about installation. Install Bib Libraries, AHD, then CODEA. I've got both working so it is possible.

then just copy pasted that into my X3AP
coz people were saying it needs to be in BOTH directories...

Yet all I get is a message saying I need some updated plugin for the military salary .. O.o which should be installed as I downloaded the recommended and required zip's/rar's

I dont even have anything for key binds which has CODEA listed...

I installed this once ages ago for X3TC

I used X-univers plugin manager also selected both x3TC and then did the same for X3AP.. still nothing

Please help

I got a lot of other scripts that I use, nothing changes combat that I know of except Mars but Mars is for turrets. Well Also got MMD and Missile Defense MKII.

HOW I DID :

I just pasted the files (from zips or others) in folders on desktop one after the other, then IN the games folders, just to make sure they are in and not replacing anything, just in case some would have same numbers...
This allowed to see what i was doing, and worked like a charm ( just have to save and reload once to get Mars, ads, the whole lots of recommended Lucike's, cheat package ( unzipped the spk with the shell extensions given by cycrows pluggin manager ), plus fdnl, hephaistos, sewn, mk3 optimisation..working (had a lots of readmetexts in menus before reloading).
The trick is to check whether you replace something ... Dont if you dunno what it is ( well mk3 reloaded for instance is a replacer)
Even installed bonus pack before pasting anything for it not to replace something i was installing.
Be sure also to install cycrow's pluggin manager first before anything else, as it backsup all T's and scripts ( making a named xxxxxbackup3100 folder with in it what was in T and Scripts before you install it...

Doing this way worked for me , only file i replaced was a "get object size/something"

Note also that Lucike's can bring MDM ( and maybe Mars??? dont recall)
wich you might have installed seperately ( mars from forum and MDM from bonus pluggin ) replacing those didnt seem to have consequences

Another thing relative to above post, you dont need the uninstall things, only T and Scripts in your game dir. they are to uninstall...and will you uninstall when it'll work ok ?

Like in game: save often ( i mean your onthe desktop and fresh installed game directory folders) paste and try in game, so you can revert to before istalling this last little thing that messes everything, or simply doesnt want to work! )

BTW: thanx to everyone working to make this game even better and to the Masters who compliled so much information in this forum!

Few tips from someone who discovered this game 15 days ago, used to play with mods in, well, a few games since Morrowind!

but now im getting msgs saying i need some other version of military transport and personnel transport O.o

Triaxx2 - I just got it installed and now its asking for something called military transport basic salary version 3.1.03? I got military transport installed but its not a salary version and as I don't read the language on luckies website I'm lost :P

need a few pointers please ....

In my griffon I have 3 Eclipse's and 6 Enhanced elites..

I would like to have the Eclipse's to have 2 elites as like escorts to pick up on anything attacking them, the Eclipse are set to only small ships (Dont want to try them on bigger things yet)

how do I go about setting this up (If its possible)

I would also swap the roles of the M3s from Attack to interceptors while still having (if possible) the elites act as their guards/wing-man/escorts

any tips welcome

Now that's odd. I thought the latest version of the Military Transport had the salary thing built into it. I suspect it's asking for one of the other mods, allowing for military transporters to get salaries. Odd. There's a mod in the list, but I'm not sure which one it is in german. Try using Babelfish to translate the site. That works, mostly. The odd, game specific word won't translate, but it's easy enough to figure those out from the ones it has.

Technician and Mechanics are the only thing delivered on military transports right and other then that there not needed right?

Edit - Found something called basic salary of the union for pilots... but gotta install the game again. Update for AP 2.0 killed my game :evil:

I know and I got it and used Babel Fish to help figure it out. When I get home from work I plan on loading up the game again. Just don't member using Salary version of the MT before though.

hotkey problem

hey, just some background: i have just reinstalled my game, and updated AP to 2.0, i have al the same mods installed as i had previously,

now every time i load my game i get a msg to tell me that my codea hotkeys have been uninstalled, they arnt unmapped but completly gone from the controls menu.

has anyone encountered this and does anyone have a fix for it ?

I had to take a backup of my game and then update to 2.0 and then reinstall CODEA took a few tries but I finally got it working. Course my game kept crashing instead of uninstalling the hotkeys, which I don't use...

try reinstalling CODEA?

um which files in lucikes_skript_kollektion_tc.zip are the files that remove the two warnings of salary for personnel transporter 3103 or higher + military transport 3103.. I also have not seen any transports holding the technicians/mechanics etc.. BUT I do have pilots..

this is for X3AP
