Not tried it,but there are some definite conflicts of interest in station models.

Now if we had a bit of editing software,whereby we could add in all the versions of ships and stations made available by various s/m ,and then select which models we actually want to use in our game....now that would be just too nice :D

Tried but CTD when loading. Same with Cadius' Engine Effects for the vanilla ships: first static flares (same flame size at 0 and full speed) and CTD after changing sector.
So atm I'm trying to do the other way round: make AP a mod compatible to Xtra :D (just ships and docks)

No it's not supposed to work with AP yet. I'll make the port once I'm done with the next update.

heya Cadius, welcome back
i love the implantation of those Nexus ships..and i also want to ask permission to decompose and resemble your models, here is the first product, and i am planning to make a USC M0 in the near future (at least attempt to)

i notice some problem on your terran turrets
Prophecy and Absolution and probably Revalation too
the laser does not actually come out from the barrel of the model, it comes out near the center of the model instead..

here is the component for Prophecy_Weapon i re-exported with DBOX

Nah it works fine, that would only happen if you didn't copy the components entry properly. In the types folder there should be a file called components, inside it there are entries for my turrets which determines the coordinates of the firing point for the guns.

i imported your component coordinate in 3dsmax with DBOX and it shows it's around center of the model, and it is also confirmed in-game (I accidently screwed up the dummies.txt, so the turrent didnt rotate, and i saw this problem)

could be an export problem those coordinates are way off. It should be

BTW To Cadius and expnobody - is there a chance for adding exepnobody models (especially that other version of ATF M7 Carrier that didn't made to XRM) to X-tra pack? I mean Expnoboty tried to add the classes missing in X-tra - like ATF M3B, ATF M7 carrier, Paranid and Argon ships) so both ship packs more or less scream for fusion.

Thanks again Cadius, I look forward to having your ships available for AP. A lot of the scripts from TC can work in AP, but I'm still waiting on my favorite mods, namely yours and logain abler's FDN mod (because building a complex takes too much time, effort, and fps).

Once these are in, I really see no reason to play TC over AP again.

i dont know why your model's size is scaled up/down when i import them to 3dsmax..that also happens to some of the new AP models..

Cadius....I have a question...your nexus ships are beautiful, I mean truely beautiful in game, have you contemplated bringing the angelwing herfelf in on someones sides? or the Kusatria and OSE ships, they might make some cool ATF ships, or maybe argon?

That's a different problem. That happens because the guns aren't centered properly on the model, i already fixed it for the next update.

I do have plans for ships similar to OSEC and SpaceTech but all in all I'm not porting ships from other games anymore.

New ships have been moved to Jonferco since they didn't fit OTAS. I've decided to leave OTAS alone, except maybe use expnobody's replacement for the Boreas. Since Jonferco hasn't got any ships yet, it gives me alot more freedom in design while still giving ships to the Argon.

I'm aiming for sometime next week

Races left to make turret sets for...

Paranid and Boron, doubt the Khaak need them... Xenon... might... Pirates... naw... they can scavenge their own turret set from the other races :D

Great! I saw the Hataka mesh and decided that I simply must have one! (or ten). I will be combining that with LV Drone Carrier Script and raising hell.
