Seems to me though that its a good sector, I just would not plant a statoin plex in it then go a long time 'spun up' on SETA in it... I would build the plex first then go OOS before assigning anything to it.. I would place in some remote defenders as well...
Ya, I agree with the notion that egosoft needs to do an opimization of its code and render some of the graphics a hair more simple to recreate as this would improve execution speed drasticly.. maybe even setting a user option for 'more smplfied station designs' in the game options for those with systems that do not run the fastest. [*shudders as thinking of the slow speed of my last HP machine* ]

Going though the terrain sectors alone sometimes causes slowdown problems. I also noticed that when I am turning past a light soarce in game, that the execution speed can even bog very noticably. Its one of the reasons why I am considering a reinstall to a SSD for both the game and the systyems page file. I also want to extend the life of my other HD's which are not exactly band-spanking new, and I dont want to get another [albeit huger ] drive that is just a variation on the theme of a HDD as they are an overglorified version of much older tech. I would make it the systems main drive, however most of the SSD's I have seen are SATA's and to mount one on my comp means its going to be a data drive added in addition to the current configuration. And besides, they are not cheap. even one the size of my current hard file size is in many cases selling for 130 to 200 on ebay! [ouch] ... So, getting one of these will definately help, but it would be nice if we could use a simpler station design - even some of the older ones redone with external clamps would be a fgood and quick compromise *I* would happly live with in lew of a SSD purchase... It would enhance my enjoyment of the game , esp. during dogfights [by reason of less bog during them thereof]...
