Which version of terran conflict are you using? This above is for versions 2.1 and later...Stern_Proctor wrote:ok now I've done this and destroyed all 4 roids and left the system and commanded them to collect, but they stop after like 6 nvidium and just fly around without collecting. Am I missing something?

Pff use "prospector" from Lucike
Set few mistral SF + one TL as home base .. tl is full jump to any space dock dock it buy an TS fill sell repe4at, and your mistrals non stop colecting in that time so u dont loosing any cash .. U dont need blow up anything Your prospectors will find NV asteropids destroy it colect it forever. they only fly to tl to unload all cargo . I got so far 2 cuz i dont like abuse to much anyway my Super Complex in ore belt ( using Complex Cleaner Mod)
and bunch of UT make me 40-50 KK/M so i dont rly need that nvidium . i just like Lucike AI pilots CAG own same Prospectors ...

Greetings, I'm the new guy here and, of course, I'll start by some questions
I don't know if I am r******* or something like that, but my stupid freighters (10 Boron Dolphin Hauler at the moment) always go to get ore instead of nividium... I have a sat where initially was the initial asteroid and I command them to start collecting rocks there, but it seems nividium doesn't reappear at the initial place or something like that, 'cause I don't see the initial big asteroid and those nividium rocks are getting further of my sat. Am I doing something wrong?
Mmm, by the way, v. 2.5

In TC you have to initially break up the asteroids yourself, if you accidentally break up an asteroid that isn't nividium then you could get into the situation you describe. Breaking up a small asteroid can be as easy as flying into it, thus unexpectantly ruinning your nividium mining adventures as collecting rocks doesn't differentiate between silicon/ore/nividium.Greetings, I'm the new guy here and, of course, I'll start by some questions

In this situation I would advise moving to another sector, finding a nividium rock and starting over,

I haven't checked them all out as you only need one, but if you mess up kindoms end then the others might provide a useful alternative.

1.How does the Nividium respawn works when:
A. I start collecting it OOS.
and
B. When I manually collect them.
2. If a Nividium Asteroid (visible in the sector map) is destroyed, does it ever respawn, if yes, what are the conditions for it to happen?
3. Once I set up 20 mercuries mining on Kingdom's End, if I move on the system while they are doing it, what happens?
4. If I tell all my miners to stop collecting ores and do something else, in another system, wait a few days, then I enter the Kingdom's End system, where my miners were, does it breaks the OOS Nividium mining?
5. If not, can I leave the system, send all the miners back in, and resume the "collect ore" activity?
Ive read over 30 topics on mining in the last 5-6 hours. Couldnt find a DEFINITIVE ANSWER to these questions, too many "I think"s, instead of "I know for sure".

If it respawns, it's game time. And the other respawns im aware only happen OOS.Interesting wrote:1.How does the Nividium respawn works when:

you move, they keep mining. so long as it was a command console command...3. Once I set up 20 mercuries mining on Kingdom's End, if I move on the system while they are doing it, what happens?
yes it breaks the mining; they are doing something else. maybe this wasn't worded right..? i mean if you tell them to STOP taking the Nividium, if it respawns, it should have already started the respawn clock.4. If I tell all my miners to stop collecting ores and do something else, in another system, wait a few days, then I enter the Kingdom's End system, where my miners were, does it breaks the OOS Nividium mining?
else if you mean leave them mining and go IS, it becomes IS mining, no longer out of sector.
5. If not, can I leave the system, send all the miners back in, and resume the "collect ore" activity? They mine...follow this flow chart:
1. Are they set to mine?
If yes, are you in the sector they are mining in?
If yes, it's in sector mining
If no, it's OOS mining.
If no..meh. no profitsss =)
pretty much going thru the gate changes things. mostly, going from OOS to IS makes them 'teleport' thanks to the lack of collisions OOS.
sorry if this is thread necroing =)

Hi,Interesting wrote:3. Once I set up 20 mercuries mining on Kingdom's End, if I move on the system while they are doing it, what happens?
you will encounter a sudden traffic problem, because IS collision detection will try to keep them away from each other while their command tells them to all fly to the same place.
Perhaps some will hit a nearby asteroid. But when you eventually leave the sector the rest of them will continue mining.

Go to the coord in kingdoms end as in the post just above, then drop an satellite, there are a couple of rocks there, target and destroy them, then send the frieghters in to pick up rocks once they reach the satellite and bam they will collect Nividium!Airman744 wrote:I actually went to Kingdom's End, but those asteroids are ore, not nvidium.
I am using version 2.5 = any idea?
Thank you
